Really performative opening stating about how she is town and is going to help town.
Throwing doubt on townreads
Rather than trying to read Esquiddy, she just discusses whether he is a new player or not, which is a way to look like she’s doing something rather than reading someone.
More performative questioning.
She kinda just implicitly makes a decision that Esquiddy would be a good lynch, but also is trying to make it look like she wasn’t the person who started the push on him. If Esquiddy isn’t a wolf this is an awful look for her.
Ditto
Why are we looking for deepwolves this early on?
Doubt on the towncore, doubt on the towncore
Don’t really know how Jane and I are lower on her reads than Esquiddy despite Esquiddy taking up like 50% of her ISO. She seems hyper-fixated on a new player and I would say if Whysper is a wolf, esquiddy was her mislynch target. She hasn’t even mentioned myself, Jane or PKR at all in her ISO before this.
Now apparently she’s changed her mind. According to her, she has no wolfleans at all, just ‘nulls.’ I have a feeling she’s scared to hard accuse anyone because she worried at how it will look if and when they flip town.
I really do hate how she makes the townreads but then puts doubt on them herself. She’s either highly inconfident in her reading abilities or she’s out of her depth with what to do as a wolf and instead just floating trying to seem like your good old, paranoid townie.
Anyway, I do think Whysper has a reasonably high wolf equity, hinging on the fact she is a newer player and therefore, would feel slightly inconfident like she did in Wild West which I picked up upon there. She tries to throw doubt onto as many townreads as she can, and her explanation does just not make much sense given how Wild West went. It wasn’t the townreads that were the problem, it was the scumreads and lack of townies clearing themselves. It honestly feels to me Whysper is acting upon a stage at this point, doing things she knows are townies without much conviction and being very unsure about what to do. Overall, this slot is probably a good lynch today.
well i don’t suppose i can argue with that. it’s something i’m hoping to get better at eventually tbh
anyways, i’d like to hear more from whysper herself, i had generally townleaned her earlier because i’d liked how eager she was to not repeat WW mistakes
It really isn’t. This is how I caught Mercenary in Mafia Academy - His reads can never be correct from my perspective so he’s either wrong or lying.
Question is useless and doesn’t advance the gamestate on what seems like a meme vote.
Half of her ISO is talking about whether esquiddy is ‘actually’ new or not, which is not only throwing shade but also indicating that he’d be a good lynch in her mind. But she’s skirting the blame by not actually hard accusing, as well as trying to guide people towards the idea that he may be not letting on to how experienced he is.
Do I really need to answer this question? The box the wolves’ worst nightmare
I didn’t see anything I disagreed with in Moleland’s post and it was tonally fine
Like the only non-valid thing I could’ve posted is the tinfoil about Wazza which I agree is reachy, but it fits with my current thoughts on who the scumteam is at this point.
and the “wrong” is like, something that very veeeery commonly comes from town.
You legitimately are telling me that wazza is a likely wolf for his bottom 4 reads in a d1 readslist not being 100% perfect from your PoV.
