Defend is better for:

Reap
Assassinate/Erraticate
Possess

Heal is better for:

Puppet strings
Nightshade/Rupture
Detonate
Magic Missile

Their other ability’s are non-comparible

Overall Knight is disproportionately strong when confirmed while Physician is disproportionately strong while hidden

A confirmed Knight is often better than even a Prince in the unlikely event that a confirmed Knight exists

Defend is good for magic missle though. I would say better than heal though

Defend WORKS on Magic Missile. Heal just works better because you get information out of it

But… defend causes the sorc to believe that the person that was defended is a member of the scum faction so in that case I still believe defend is better

Yes because sorc can’t attack scum mates. So if a sorc was spooked it usually means that that person is a fellow scum mate
