Well Yeah. But why don’t we have roles? There was nothing wrong with the term so why is it class?
i can give you his/her reply (no disrespect plex, just you do tend to give similar answers for questions like these)
because ‘role’ suggests it has 1 function, whereas ‘class’ suggests it has a variety of abilities and versatility
“Ruby” - Best Girl
oc is good because no apostrophe
TBH I only see people use “occupied” and not “oc” or “occ’d”
And “converted”, never “Conv” or “Conv’d”
But ah maybe I’ve just never been there at the right time
I wish people would use occd or oc
This guy has it right:
We’re breaking the barrier, is why. This is not a “werewolf mafia” game, anymore. It’s a “social deduction” game (the next generation of WWM) and people relate more to the word class than role. Classes are defined as being more versatile, too, as Simon says.
Is that also the reason you don’t use the term roleblocked?
Occupied offers a better visual of what is happening to new members of the genre that are inexperienced with the original terms. It’s also obvious enough to those that played the original genre that occupied means roleblocking.
Also, we don’t have roles - we have classes, and someone mentioned earlier “classblocking” sounds horrible and is not very intuitive sounding since we have classes
Ok thanks. I don’t think you need to explain the rest of the terminology difference such as execute instead of lynch (executions and such). Btw how should we differentiate a Prince exe from a public exe quickly?
I always said “Prince’d”. Make it a verb lol
