Wild West FM - Day 5 - Mafia Win!

I’m a little wary that Intensify is that person always in the PoE who somehow survives multiple ITAs and a wagon attempt.

I think exactly one of Intensify/Wazza is scum, leaning towards Wazza but I’m unsure. The other scum might be in Sulit, Gorta, or Light.

I get TMI-vibes from this post

Didn’t one of Claw/Leafia/PKR survive three ITAs before keeling over

The difference is that Leafia and PKR were both new members of the consensus PoE. Intensify’s just always been there but any attempt to wagon him or kill him just fizzles out, which I think is more indicative of scum.

Wait, I misread that. I thought Ash was randomly saying Intensify and App aren’t scum

wot’ you mean?

they said they didn’t SR two of the bottom PoE from my PoV and I wanted to know where they thought the scum were if not there

Intensify and Wazza are both suspicious to me but I wouldn’t exactly call them both scumreads since I think they’re never teamed.

Surviving ITAs in itself is NAI, I’m talking about how much Intensify’s been in the PoE but any attempt to wagon them or plan to kill them during ITAs fizzles out.

Keep in mind that Intensify was one of the CWs to Surge/Mole. It’d probably be useful to go look at D1 votes at some point.

This makes me more suspicious of Intensify. Would scum really NK Ranger if he had only one scum, the one that was being killed, in his PoE of 5 people? And he called Wazza “strongly town.”

/vote Intensify @Insanity

I would support an Apprentice town world if it wasn’t for:

His defensive and aggressive behavior at the start of D1. Especially PKR’s concern about town reaching a consensus way too quickly (or agreeing with him way too quickly)

His defense on mole, and the way he handled Surge’s vote. I believe he even made a post about how meta-reading is bad but based most of his reads off of meta.

He tried to defend yee-claw in a weird manner and played it off as him not defending yee-claw, and appeared to have backtracked since Mist called him out on it.

He also even ordered a shot on RangerCecil, stating how Ranger should never be allowed to go to endgame.

He became frustrated that he never got the credit for Surge’s lynch

He seemed to have ignore the fact that Surge tends to be bussed as mafia to get credit, meaning his frustration is a bit unreasonable if he does have meta info on Surge as both town and mafia.

And now he has gone quiet since he was in the PoE and given up on proving himself.

No I’m not really. Quite frankly it might be the opposite. I usually find myself in POE and just dies unless I’m like a PR class like Prince.

He was really hard defending Mole, I wonder if scum!Apprentice would actually hard defend a PoE partner like that. It would link them together in an obvious way and there was no real benefit of doing it.

Since yeeclaw is town, why is defending yeeclaw scummy?

That is suspicious.

I meant always in the PoE yet surviving this game. I know I’ve spent multiple scum games staying in the PoE yet defusing every attempt to wagon me.

But I haven’t really defused any wagons on me

This frustration could come from town too, but I dislike how he’s given up. His behavior today is definitely anti wincon no matter his alignment.

Actually this leads to a theory I have. If Apprentice is mafia, it would connect to the idea that Surge is bussed by mafia D1 to get credit. With setting up the Surge and Intensify wagon v Mole (something I notice is how he never sets it up as Surge V Intensify V Mole, but like Surge + Intensify V Mole), mafia could’ve hoped to clear mole’s slot. And the thing that actually bothers me is how he says never to base off reads from meta, but despite Centuries’ reads and other people’s reads, he says mole isn’t mafia due to how he played in another game. Its like the meta rule has an exception with mole but not with everyone else.

And the defense on yee-claw was weird in the way he handled it. He tried to play it off as him not making a defense case, then backs off from that to just say Cecil had awful points. And that’s also if you don’t read it as Apprentice knowing yee-claw would flip town due to him being mafia. So it could’ve been a set up for a “I always knew” moment. (But I am actually unsure how often this takes place. I actually tend to overthink a lot of times when it comes to the “I always knew” moments)

With you theory, is Intensify town or mafia?

I guess not but maybe your partners did or pushed better wagon choices.
