Some early thoughts.

(I don’t exactly remember who I’m quoting here but) Vul’s posts seem like they were written by a villager. I like their thought process on Seth and their thought process in general, and he’s doing a good job explaining it.

I’m proud of Leafia for the way they started, for I was suffering in SFoL spec chat before. They’re being logical. Good job Leafia.

The one I like most is Vul but it is very mild.

Which makes it feel like a villagery hedge to me

not sure what a “villagery hedge” is, but it doesn’t seem very hedgey to me. I’m trying to figure out if this is a slip of planning to SR but it not working or if hedge just popped into mind and the overall read was villagery, hence the combination.

Vul is my strongest townread. I should go look up FoL 29 when I have the energy to compare these games together, but so far I really like Vul for the reasons I’ve stated earlier.
I don’t have anyone I really scumread, but Wazza & Seth have done questionable things so I’ll be keeping an eye out especially for those two.

Consistent in reads. Not overambitious, good progressions on all of these

ok this post is almost exactly how Alice went about discrediting Wazza the instant Wazza scumread them in SFoL 63. There’s no attempt to interact with or understand yee-haw at all. I get that Cecil does scumread them. Why is this entire post devoted to discrediting everything about yee? Instead of just saying why their read on you is wrong you just try to discredit their entire readlist. Yes you scumread them. But you’re not even trying to have a dialogue with them at all.

The general plan is to discuss ITAs before they’re shot.
I can’t say anything about if everyone will follow the plan, but no one is supposed to die before having the chance to defend themselves.

Okay hot take, I’m gonna get backlash for this but

I’m actually getting bad vibes from the way Mist defended Leafia and from the way she avoided being on Seth’s wagon
I also think everyone has been too easy on Chili who has been consistently following the general consensus which has been proven to be not-so-good

But I’m not gonna act like I’ve solved anything, because they’re probably town

Cloned was the only one with a good case, and I admit I was still sheeping Vul a bit. Claw’s shot wasn’t scummy because the reaction itself felt genuine, even more so as the first shot was from a person that was part of the PoE, and from a general standpoint, it wouldn’t be the smartest idea for a wolf to clear it.

Actually I don’t think Wazza mentioned he was town even once in his long argument with Mist. He said Mist reading his entrance as wofly was BS and weak but he didn’t even say it was wrong or say he was town.

I’d like to believe I can judge when the hedge is more likely to come from a V PoV rather than a wolf struggling to form fake reads
