my point is, if you know Maple’s claim isn’t real, if Eevee knows Maple’s claim isn’t real, if Eli knows Maple’s claim isn’t real, and I know Maple’s claim isn’t real, who the heck is left to even bait? Nobody is going to kill a VT that fake claimed JoaT with no evidence. It’s a dumb strategy and the only thing it does is signal to the wolves that they shouldn’t be killed at night.

If scum roleblocks him and voyeur sees it - he is confirmed town, despite not even being joat to begin with.
And then due to messed up roleblock, maybe other joat will save first one.
See? It gives a breathing room for there to be 3 joats.
It’s 100% logical claim for town to do in that situation, but you are just… RUINING it.
While on scum PoV it’s… terrible claim, cause why out yourself when all joats are supposed to be dying anyway.
