you are under estimating the power of anyomous
So you play intentionally bad as town? That’s throwing
When did I say they purposefully play bad? You are strawmanning me now.
Good town/scum play balance is found in balancing, that is making your plays based on frequency
Good play is subjective and thus can’t be classified under a set of standards
I must be game throwing a lot of games then
You said play same as either alignment
If you are an accurate reader as town, it comes off that you have to be a bus driver as scum or you’re just wolfread
town can be wrong. Playing the same means acting the same doesn’t mean lynching the same
And you can’t call bussing gamethrowing because it’s not.
Yes it does, it means lynching scum and not being inaccurate. That’s the whole point of being town
Over simplifying it. Town can be wrong. Town isn’t always right.
I don’t, I just think if you act the same as both alignments, you’re underplaying in some form, I think you have to mix up your plays to avoid doing this in the long run
Then why did you call it game throwing?
That’s your standards
Not others
Town is generally more right than wrong, especially humans
Because if you really look at your play, you will notice those flaws in your play. If you see those flaws and continue to use them knowing at least someone else knows them, it’s throwing.
Thankfully most of the time, there isn’t a clear best play for town or scum, so mixing up your play should be fairly straightforward
There is much more EV to playing dirty and using cheap tricks to win that don’t work again and again, but will get you the win in a particular game. People will fail to adjust to your ever-changing style and you can exploit it to your advantage
Opportunistic scum
Opportunistic town
Opportunistic neutrals
