I could technically host a DR.
Can’t destroy something that is already destroyed.

understandable
Plus, I’m also a good game designer and could help you out.

Judgement Day was upon us
Also like straight up
the game hinged on either Marshal or Kyo being yeeted there
if Marshal gets yeeted uhh
wolves lose that game most likely
when is this game expected to start
because this seems cool but i definitely dont want to multitable commnity/homestuck mash
Later this month. Probably waiting until community FM is on its later days.
Honestly, with the way that people are avoiding this game because they think that it’s going to end up as the same mess as Wazza game where the Main Phase was turned into pure alliance-building is making it that it’s going to be a hard game to fill.
Real solution is to not have friends.
Eh, the problem here is that other people are doing it, tho. Plus, the last game didn’t really give people the motivation to avoid playing favorites as…
A) There was no risk in accidentally voting the Sacrifice as that role was made a joke.
B) There was no motivation for people to kill suspicious players because of how the MM worked.
Like, see how the games ran in the VN. Obvious spoilers below.
In Chapter I Joe, Sara, Sou, Kanna, and Kai were the candidates for being killed. Sara and Sou were basically thunderdomed as they were extremely suspicious of the motivation of the other party as there was a paranoia about traitors in the midst. Kai was there as his entire behavior with Nao was sketchy as hell. Kanna… well, she’s basically a liability because she’s extremely guillable.
After the second phase of the game they all decided on offing Kai as he was not only suspicious, but he was basically confirmed to be the Sage while there was a risk that they’d kill off the actual Keymaster in Sara/Sou or the Sacrifice in Joe/Kanna.
In Chapter II Nao, Sou, Kanna, and Keiji were the candidates as Sou and Kanna were as suspicious as they were in the last chapter and Keiji was sketchy as hell with how he handled Megumi’s victim video. Once Keiji was removed of the pool since Q-Taro vouched for him as the Sage then the game became trying to find out who was the Sacrifice in Sou/Kanna/Nao.
Wazza didn’t include these elements in her game as for the first part the MM could basically do nothing and was only a single person, so evils in that game so to say had effectively no presence and thus there was no need to kill off suspicious people. Then because the Sacrifice was pretty much neutered there really wasn’t a reason to actually hunt for them which meant that people could play favorites with impunity.
Again, the Death Game in YTTD can be played as an actual social deduction game. The only reason why it didn’t work out in Wazza’s game was because she effectively removed every danger that were present in the game.
I know I sound like a broken record, but way too people in private have told me that they don’t think that YTTD can actually be a viable social deduction game due to the previous run and as someone who’s an experienced designer of SDGs I wanna dispell this myth.
i’d argue playing survivor was optimal
It served a lot as insurance. Being allied with someone means that even if you are discovered as non-sacrifice non-keymaster you can still live, and you’ll be fine as long as you don’t vote the sacrifice.
It wasn’t ‘voting those who you didn’t like’, it was voting those you thought might go against you
the survivory aspects sort of devolved at the end as the game got weirder and weirder but I’d argue the survivoring was not suboptimal
Honestly
The PKR situation was pretty toxic
and thats like one of the biggest memorable things from that game
outside of me just straight up murdering tree man
I felt that one of the major points of the issue of the sacrifice there was that Wazza didn’t really make people outside of the MM try to conspire against the rest of the participants.
Like, at that point then basically creating alliances was the optimal playstyle as there were no other serious threats in the game outside of players outside your alliance.

Why was PKR killed?
He was being pretty toxic who should be voted out, cause we pinpointed who was sac during i think
trial 2
I don’t personally think the survivor thing was
At all fun though
Like he was straight up fighting people if we even suggested like voting out troch i think
How easily was the Sac pinpointed?
Like PKR was in an alliance with Troch and two other people i cant remember
Intensify was
Outted by trades iirc
