It’s pushing things in the direction of not-them in a very casual/muted way that a sacrifice would be very unlikely to do because it’s not cred-grabby but still makes their own execution chances low.

The rest of it kinda just fits

they’re playing without an angle, and they’ve subtly (subtly is important because it again isn’t’ immediately trying to get credit) shown they’re playing for the future when sacri obviously isn’t.
