The glossy black feathers gently fall unto the earth,
The midnight black cape quivers as the figure soars to the hospital room
Tho he landed with gentleness and posture that commanded attention
Alas a room filled with people in despair, none saw but one who was not ready
A young man stands aside a bed looking upon what was once him but now just a shell
“I take it that you’re here for me”, he says looking at the figure who gently nods
The young man cries and says goodbye to the people before him tho they hear not
He takes the hand of Death and they glide away so gently
The man looks at him and cries “Why, why have you called my time, why must you be so ruthless?”
Death looks upon the crying man and sheds but one tear, “My child i am not the one who has called upon your time, i am just as sad to see such beautiful creations die, but alas i am but a humble man that guides those soul in need to judgment”
The man looks in confusion “But are you not Death, the one of fear?”
They stop just before a marbled black and white gate and death looks at it in reminisce
“I once thought the same but i could not bring myself to such evil, but if I revealed that it is not me that calls upon the clocks of life but it’s my brother Life himself that calls upon you then those would fear him and not i , i am but a humble guide that brings those to the gates of judgment”
The man looks in surprise as Death gently touches his forehead and becomes filled with peace
The man looks at Death “Are you the only one?, the only death to guide? And what happened to my sorrow and grief?”
Death looks “I am the only one, only one charged to stay on earth and guide those to the heavens, and i take your sorrow and pain as my own” he says as the marbled gates open flooding them with light.
The man sees family of old with white winged guardians waiting for him and he walks forward only to find Death does not follow. “Why do you not come?, are you afraid?”
Death gently looks down “I am forbidden to step forth, my wings of black scare others and i must remain here to help other souls”
The man looks at the light “I thank you for bringing me here in my time of need and i wonder tho that with all that you say, you must be lonely here seeing only death and those that fear and hate you” he says finally looking back to death only to see tears fall unto Death’s cheek
“Perhaps” Death says when the man is lifted up and slowly guided into the gates by the light and Death looks “But alas none of that matters now”
The man stares at Death until he starts to blur and disappears as the memory of Death erases from his mind and forgets ever meeting death as the gates close.
Death gently bows his head and stands up wiping his tears and he flies off to another soul in need, forever alone……

I have reasons to not want Jane voted out
mainly because they’ve been actually solving a lot in whispers w/ me compared to most people
