Hm… I didn’t think I would get prescripted. Good thing I regularly check TOL, but… I am honestly starting to doubt whether I can play or not.

Keep in mind the Masterminds wincondition has been paraphrased.

MM’s 1st wincon… couldn’t they just win by default? Hypothetically, if Keymaster never dies while Sage and Sacrifice always die, wouldn’t MM win at some point because [x] Sacrifices have died?

The Game will start on the Exploration phase. The Exploration phase will last 72 hours during this time you will possibly see cards and may choose a card that you see to pick up. This will reveal your role. During this time, someone has a high chance to die. Claiming your role during this phase will result in a modkill.

I definitely forgot about this part, but to verify: Picking up a role will reveal it, but claiming your role will kill you?

Trading starts during the Chapter 2 Main Game. In which for a certain price you may trade your role with another. You will learn this price when the time comes for it.

Exploration Phase basically means you go into a place and pick up a card. Are roles determined from the Start of Phase? Or are they determined when you pick up said card?

Roles are determined when you pick up a card.

And no, Exploration Phase is also used to solve puzzles.
