As a non-power claim you can just out and an evil king won’t bother you anyways. As a power class your suggestion is a good one. If the king seems to be asking at random then he would probably be evil so you should ask why he is asking for you in particular (after outing cuz you are doing that anyways). That or you could just out as Prince or whatever when you are Hunter to bait him out and get his alignment, I’ve seen people doing that it works. Someone did it on me even.
You were advocating for evil king bussing his teammates upon being found in the early game, before day 4, so MM can still reappear. I’m simply debating against that strategy, giving you the odds of that being the smart thing to do. Doing it on or after day 4 leads you to possibly kill MM and cripples the unseen. So it is simply a mistake to bus unseen as evil king.
Doing it on D3 is ideal, it seems believable.
You seem to think that I’m advocating it as a insta-win strat. I’m not.
What I’m saying is that it was a very good strat when it was possible but should only be used if you’re willing to risk it.
Of course, with King changes it’s no longer possible but shrug
Thank God for that though
Can’t wait to try new King on Wednesday, busy untilthen
He’s really fun now btw.
And now that the King has been buffed, may I suggest buffing the Butler too? I feel that Nighshade Wine is underpowered

I’d just make it able to target non-kings and give it 2 uses. That and Party should ignore occ immunity (and be prioritized over HH)
I actually like the killing guards a lot. The only minor change I think should be made is that guards will refuse to attack prince. I feel it’s far too easy to just have prince claim to king through whispers and he gets killed with no one knowing the cause. I don’t think this would be broken either since king can vote up Prince to try and force execute him as well.
And this is why Prince should always say that he outed to King in logs, and if he didn’t publicly out, BD will know to execute the King.
This is a very good idea. The King should be a power player. He’s the king, yo. Can’t wait to try it out.
GOD DAMN IT BOSLOF. STOP USING THOSE EMOTES.
;-;
for fucks sake,
boslof this is an intervention, stop using the emotes.
Why tf is there even a breast feeding emote?
Blame Boslof, he added it most likely
I’d just like to say that I’m supportive of the general direction of these changes - the old king would dominate the court in a bad way, to the point where we were routinely hanging any king that did not find at least one evil player by d4, and games would be won or lost based on this. I don’t know if the new balance is right yet, but that’s a question where opinions are useless and only data matters.
I think it is a good idea that all classes should have roughly equal opportunity to be important to games, otherwise the engagement/fun of the game is determined d1 when you see your class. Note that this doesn’t mean every class is important to every game, it means that every class should be important in roughly the same proportion of games.
If there is one major direction that I’d encourage you to think about, it would be the fact that the current norm is for nobody to say anything substantial for the first couple of days, until one of the inv classes discovers something by guesswork. Early social activity (especially from the king) tends to benefit the evil side, so is interpreted as evil.
Actually, it only benefits the evil side if you ignore it.
Daytime discussion is literally the only method most BD can use to find evil roles. You just need to know what to look for. This ability seperates the good players from the complacent ones.
Hint: Whispering is not what you need to look for. Normal claims is also not what you need to look for and threats are definitely not what you need to look for.
