1.0.7 Patch Notes

General:

  • Journal has been renamed to Logbook.
  • There can now only be a max of 2 Neutral Socials that spawn in a game.
  • Report summary min. characters increased from 1 to 15. Please include as many details as possible when reporting.
  • Added the ability to purchase gold with money from your Steam Wallet.

There are 4 Tiers:

  • $2.49 for 1,500
  • $4.99 for 3,500
  • $9.99 for 8,000
  • $19,99 for 18,000

Priest:

  • Removed day ability ‘Bind Soul’.
  • The Priest now gives up their own life when they revive a player.

I’d rather have the Prince or an unconvertible Sheriff/Paladin (or even Observer) revived than being able to talk to the dead lategame.

Priest journals will be pure gold from now on for investigations and dead info. Not to mention he can prepare accusations that will affect things after his death but now he won’t be crazily carrying BD to victory. Good balance is good.

I can’t wait to RP as a saint priest who gives their life for a Knight, for the Knight to be pursued by a Sheriff who doesn’t understand that the Knight is good and then in the end the Knight forgives the Sheriff and the Sheriff suicides and the Knight ends up dying after saving someone’s life and the good guys eventually win.

I’m gonna call it Less Miserable, and it’ll be a musical.

I feel like the priest committing suicide will either be a slight annoyance or game changing. Either way not what we want.

You’d have to specify who “we” is. Your post only speaks for yourself… and most in this thread have so far expressed positive opinions in regards to the change. I also welcome it.

Sorry about that. Given that 1.0.5 BD was far too week they needed a buff. That buff was in the form of a buffed priest. That means that if the priest is then nerfed to be equal to or worse than 1.0.5 Priest then it would lead to the same problem as before.

1.0.5 priest was effectively = 1 unconvertable (the revive) and 1 convertible (the priest)
1.0.6 priest was effectively = 2 unconvertable (the priest and revived)
1.0.7 priest is currently = 1 uconvertable (the revive OR the priest)

1 unconvertable < 1 unconvertable + 1 convertable

Unconvertables wasn’t the issue. The issue was 1 person too many being confirmed Blue dragon along with a revive and an invincible priest. Which has now been rectified while maintaining the priests buff. Priest is a little stronger than before but not strong enough to put him above all the other roles.

Add the word confirmed to my list and you will see that my argument still works

My proposal was that the priest would be convert immune until the revive.

In other words = 1 unconvertable (priest) OR 1 unconvertable (revive) and 1 convertible (priest)
