1.1.0 Patch Notes

Princess was already one of these classes unless they had a wisp.

yes they were… but they had a whisp was the point… a competent princess would whisp n1 or n2 to the king, (and your odds of being visited n1-2 are insanely high) and be more or less proven…

also that’s part of what made it lul if you didn’t… because if you had the darn tool to confirm yourself, but didn’t use it, that’s crazy suspicious. Removing that tool actually may lessen the lul princess effect at least partially, because not proving yourself is a fact of life, not a concious bad decision you made.

Much like a CW that hasn’t tornado’d, or an observer that chose to peak early game and hasn’t followed anyone.

Things I’m excited about:

Added Deathnote colors for purchase in the store.

Players who are blocked from voting will now be shown as abstaining during trials.

Concentrated Wine no longer says you were occupied while visiting target. Now has a more generic message.

Happy Hour now has a more generic message.

If someone tries to redirect the Mastermind, they will know who they would’ve been redirect to.

Icy Touch - Chilled players can no longer talk to the dead and are instead silenced.

Inquisitor and Scorned committing suicide after victory.

Ruthless Efficiency will now kill all targets, but will only bypass the Sorcerer’s night immunity.

Magic Cloak will now make the Sorcerer appear as a non-magic user to the Inquisitor in addition it its current effects.

Reanimate removed

Replaced Cult Numbers with Telepathy. 2 uses

Mercenary can no longer accuse their target of treason.

Mercenary will automatically vote to pardon their target.

Willowisp being changed.

Things I am unhappy about:

Willowisp being changed to a nerfed Observer follow.

This is boring and unoriginal.

Nightshade Wine will once again take two days to kill the King.

The only reason I can think of for why this was done was to stop the butler-poison-to-prove thing. But there were three other ways it’s been proposed this could’ve been done, and all of them are better than this, which now makes Butler poison practically useless for its intended purpose (which is killing Evil King):

  • Give Servant a “Hallucinogenic Wine” thing that tricks the King into thinking he is poisoned by Butler.

  • Give evils an ability that would prevent the Butler from poisoning the King (a Bewilder that could target people other than the King; the Butler, for example).

  • Make the notification for being poisoned by Butler indistinguishable from being poisoned by Assassin.

No longer has Call of The Dead.

This solves the dead-outing-possessor problem. But it seems like this is overkill. I get that it sucks to be outed by a dead person who got info on you right when you killed them, but it seems a solution that would be more fun would be to make dead less reliable, like giving dead evils a way to trollbox dead chat or something. But as long as Death Knights are gone forever I shall not complain too much.

Mental Blur has not been replaced.

Bewilder hasn’t been changed so it can target anybody.

Something I’m confused about:

Possess reduced to 2 uses and you will now get your target’s deathnote.

What does this mean? If I jump, will I still be able to leave a deathnote I drew myself on the corpse? Also are the Possessor deathnote bugs fixed (where for example if you jump to someone the same night they killed someone, your deathnote appears on your own corpse as well as on your target’s victim)?

It should be mentioned that this appeaars to be a move to limit dead interaction, and that just so happens to solve the possesion issue.

After all, it is no longer a neccecary mechanic due to gold being given at end of matches if left while dead.

I understand it wasn’t done specifically to solve the Possessor problem, but I thought it was fun to participate in winning the game after you died. Some people said it’s unfair to get outted by someone you killed specifically so they wouldn’t out you, but that’s what made converting the Psychic so great. You couldn’t trust the Psychic 100% anyway.

But again I don’t care too much that communication between the dead and the living is gone.

Also there are two Psychics now

So it’s very worth the many benefits

That seems really fun.

The butler nightshade made the ability useless. The one day one is used when a evil king gets chosen. and you can’t vote them up. You use it. Prince executes someone who didn’t vote the king up. A evil king is dead A evil person is dead. And you execute the last person.
Now its pretty much useless.

2 Psychics is good, but it’s still a discount Prince.

That can change

Wait

I just had the easiest idea

Conduit becomes infinite use and Link Minds becomes two use

I’d want them both to be unlimited

Link Minds is strictly better in most cases though

Gathering claims will trump linking two other randoms

Linking 2 randoms gets you 2 claims tho.

You can’t ask them and you can’t force them, and I’d be hesitant to claim in that situation where the other person would know my claim.

Wowwie. This is a lot, and I have to say I like everything here. Good work.

Why don’t we just ditch Link Minds entirely?

Conduit would be good enough for the class.

Not with 2 uses
Edit: Oh you mean give him infinite Nvm

Merc is being changed to be bound to a single target or forever suffer the wrath of a ban for throwing because you didn’t guard a losing target. At the very least they should know their targets class.
