Well I don’t know if converting the SS is the best option there. Do you want me to determine if it is? Why do you want me to do that?
Why didn’t you come up with that?
Do it. Its a fun exercise
What reason would I have for coming up with that? I defined my situation carefully in order to ensure that converting the SS was a good idea. Not sure how your situation suits my purpose. But I will try to issue an opinion … one minute lol
I already worked through it btw. Converting SS IS a guarenteed win for MM given everyone having perfect information (which isn’t hard given the classes in play)
Is Possessor dying to poison tonight or next night?
Tonight but he has a jump.
One jump or two?
Shouldn’t matter but I’ll go with 1
Yea it took me awhile but I realized the only thing the MM can do that might benefit him is try to convert the SS. In fact it’s the only thing he can try that might have any affect at all
Wait fuck I just realized. Possessors best move is to jump to SS not King
Because Jumping to king is a guaranteed loss (as we just established) while jumping to SS is kingmaker
Well if you add the caveat that everyone is perfectly logical and has perfect information and all this is common knowledge to all, then yes.
Well there is no point in trying to predict someone who is illogical without a psychological profile that we obviously don’t have on hand.
When the next day begins, does everyone know who Possessor jumped to?
They would figure it out. So yes
I thought about it and you’re right. Because if the game didn’t end then it can only mean the Sellsword got possessed.
Not that. If the game doesn’t end that means the Possessor jumped. MM is night immune so it wasn’t him. King has Finger and would use it if it was him. So if the King doesn’t finger he’s Possessor (King trying to trick Everyone into thinking he is poss is irrelevant as that’s equivalent to letting poss win kingmaker)
I meant everyone knows Possessor knows he must either jump to SS or GK, otherwise he dies and loses. If Poss jumps to GK, MM successfully converts SS and the game ends with a win for Unseen. If Poss jumps to SS, game doesn’t end and everyone knows Poss jumped to SS.
But actually all of this is moot. Because everyone knows that everyone knows that Poss knows his only potentially-winning move is to jump to SS and hope for the King to give him the win.
Guys all I saw was you both arguing back and forth
