You can’t have a good reason to think that the possessor will kill BD if the possessor is not going to kill BD.
You cannot assume that without a good reason. Why would the sellsword guard the possessor or mastermind when guarding the BD (and announcing that fact) means he will always win instead of sometimes being converted to a loss.
Not necessarily true. The Sellsword may be deceived into voting against the Possessor. So the proof remains solid.
You cannot assume that without a good reason.
The situation is defined as the Sellsword not guarding the BD.
If he is then you didn’t need to convert him anyway
That’s an event. Not a situation. Prove that the sellsword will not guard a BD or your situation doesn’t exist.
If he is then you didn’t need to convert him anyway
Just because I didn’t need to doesn’t mean it wasn’t the best choice.
That’s an event. Not a situation. Prove that the sellsword will not guard a BD or your situation doesn’t exist.
My scenario, event, situation, case, whatever you want to call it, is defined in part by the Mastermind having good reason to believe the Sellsword will NOT guard the BD.
What is the good reason then?
It’s undefined.
Then how do I know your situation is possible.
Maybe the Sellsword wants the Poss to win, but guards the Poss so he doesnt get converted because he thinks the Poss is the BD, and the MM knows this about the SS.
There are really an infinite number of possible reasons because of the human element.
Ok. And how does the possessor know about the sellsword?
Previously them having been working together was possible. However if the sellsword thinks the possessor is BD then we can rule that out.
Also which BD is this anyway?
The important question is not what is he, but what is he BELIEVED to be. Let’s assume the Mastermind believes him to be a Butler without any uses of party, since this simplifies things (he can’t occ anyone cuz everyone is occ immune).
I’ve already explained the situation from the perspective of everyone but the BD. I’d rather not flesh it out in more detail. But if you have one more challenge that you think I will be unable to answer, let me know.
It’s important to identify how they would both reach that conclusion because he need to identify that a line of reasoning for that exists at all.
Like if the possessor knows about the sellsword then why hasn’t he whispered the sellsword?
you know what? Fuck it. I’ll come up with the situation myself.
Good King (no guards or OE’s)
Possessor who is poisoned
MM
Sellsword
Everyone has perfect information
Was that really so hard?
Because there is only a limited amount of time during the day and he spent it whispering the Blue Dragon trying to figure out whether he was a Hunter or not.
There really is an infinite number of possible answers to this question.
I never said that in YOUR situation, converting the SS is the best option for the MM.
I only said that in at least ONE possible situation (the one I gave as an example), it is.
That’s the situation
