That’s the cult’s only advantage(other than having 4 members) over the unseen though.
Yes
And what disadvantage do cult get
Limited use abitlies…
The cult has too many disadvantages compared to the unseen though.
Unseen advantages:
-Can kill and convert in the same night
-Each class is powerful
-Converting class is immune to death, occupation, and redirection
Unseen disadvantages:
-Once the mastermind is dead, they can no longer convert
Cult advantages:
-Can infinitely convert
-Can have 4 members
Cult disadvantages:
-Has to sacrifice members to kill more
-Killing and converting are shared by the same class
-Classes are expendable
I disagree. The wise man once told me (me making up a quote) that it doesn’t matter if your army is small and strong. You will always lose to a army outnumbering you a lot.
The cults advantage is number and I disagree with your statement. They have numbers meaning they can cause mislynchs. While the unseen have 3 members and can’t mislynch that often.
Classes being expendable is a great advantage meaning they can lose a member and not have to panic
Numbers>Abitiles
Alright, but the unseen still has more advantages and less disadvantages.
That’s their only advantage though.
But they are weak mechanically and boring to play. They should at least be on the same level as apostle.
That doesn’t mean that the abilities should be weak though.
The abilities aren’t weak
Seeker can find good classes to convert while the unseen have to look out for them or get a investigator to find it. And they convert later
Apostle-I think this has voting power meaning auto great
Ritualist is THE BEST ONE I THINK IN THE EARLY-mid game.
Hides a member, swaps people
Um can you remind
Me of the last one?
And I don’t care how you say it
A converter that’s can’t be replace that turns people into Op carbons of their stuff
Will always be outmatched by a converter that can be replaced and only turns people into a cult member without abilities
Gaze is useful, but identify is only useful for finding neuts. And expose is useless once the prince dies. Gaze should just work like observer’s follow and identify should determine the exact class of your target. Expose should also determine the next player to use a day ability(which would include the prince).
Agreed. Apostle is what each cult class should be like.
Not really. Teleport is its only useful ability. Brotherhood only affects 2 classes in the game(and the last nerf wasn’t needed. It needed a rework, not a nerf.)
Invoker(which is one of the better cult classes, though bewilder shouldn’t only target the king and it should have more uses).
I propose making it work like the enforcers protection and prevent visits to target cultist.
Also of we are changing the effects of the abilitys for seeker and ritualist then we should set the uses to match
Seeker:
Gaze - 2 uses
Identity - 3 uses
Ritualist:
Teleport - 3 uses
Brotherhood - 2 uses
That is all for now.
It should just be able to target anyone. Why should it only target the cult?
Mostly balence reasons. It could be far too powerful to give the cult access to something like that when it is so easy to get access to a Ritualist. Possablely even N1.
This is because you can use it in combination with bleed for a free extra kill. Normally with teleport it is possible to try and predict the swap and still heal the right person, or you can use a CW to help.
Other use cases would be extremely rare.
I like the classes. I do think cult could use some more help. Good job!
