I remember being happy with a 2150 out 2400

i took the sat in like… 7th grade?

and got a 1230.

idk how good i would do now but i did better on english/reading and lower on math

Congratulations! :confetti_ball:

ye

The conversion table I found on the internet informs me that that is also quite good

I did bad in like the essay portion a bit of the reading

Where I live the ACT is more standard as the College Admissions Test :tm: and I got really lucky in that the essay portion of the ACT doesn’t affect your composite score :upside_down_face:

imagine taking the essay portion

I was always happy when I got a 1 in school
Or a 15
But what are you on about :eyes:

The ACT and the SAT are two tests used for college/university admissions in the United States. The SAT currently has a reading portion and a math portion, both scored out of 800, which are then added to get a score out of 1600. The ACT has a reading portion, an English portion (grammar), a math portion, and a science portion (reading but for science), each of which is scored out of 36, and all of which are averaged to get a composite score also out of 36. Both tests have an optional essay portion that some but not all schools require you submit.

Wait, you are getting tested if you can read and use grammar properly? :eyes:
For university??

When I was studying, at least 3 of my professors wouldn’t have been able to do that. Their german (and they teach in german) was okaish, but not better

the english part is EZ

i got like i think 710/800 on it in 7th grade. The math part was hard because i was taking algebra 1 lul

My personal experience with the ACT is that it was easy and the only remotely challenging thing was the time limit but this is not universal

Why were you taking the SAT in 7th grade in the first place?
