Is it then that I’m bad in scumreading (not terrible, but bad), because I don’t understand other people’s motivation? Since you kinda try to understand the motivation of the player, if they come from a town pov or a scum pov.
It’s incredibly hard to understand motivation of others if you have never felt something like that, I guess
ok FK need some help, best way to get myself motivated to play scum, cause i lose a lot of motivation due to the stress i know it brings.
Why are you less stressed as town, when you have a lot more ways to screw up.
Think about it this way, you are more stressed out because you have MORE INFORMATION and therefore you know what needs to happen for you to lose.
Think about it that way, why are you worried about losing when you have a much easier way to win, by acting as town.
Like you just need to relax as scum and win the game. They don’t know who you are, and won’t know who your team is until they are all dead. Think about what you will feel when you win the game

I just feel 100% unsecure if I do scumreads. Mechanics are hard facts, you can easily rely on them, even when they get tampered. But even these tampers can prove a lot. Human communication on the other hand is hard and complicated. Why should I rely on scumreads if I can rely on mechanics instead 
And yeah I only play social games which are either 1. very forgiving if you do false reads, or 2. they have clear and hard mechanics you can rely on - at best you don’t even have to ask the host questions, because everything is already clear defined.
I enjoy tho to learn how to support my mechanics with scumreads, that improved my plays a lot.
This is why most setups give town a lot of mislynches to work with
Take Cop13 for example
Scum need to mislynch 4 town in order to win, so town gets 3 guaranteed mistakes without losing. Additionally, these mistakes still give town more information to work with (lynch wagons, voting patterns, etc)
Town also has even more mechanical help in a Cop who, no matter what, knows another town.

just think about it, I’m too lazy to say why this is correct but if you think about it it’s very true
Another very dank thing to do as scum is to not dread being scum and all the possibilities if things go wrong, but instead embrace the hype that comes with finding every way possible to screw over town
