logically the cookie should not be growing spikes out of its’ walls, nor should it be developing some kind of set of perfectly smooth chocolate chip wheels. but that won’t stop it from doing so anyway.
nor should it be glowing, as if it is poised perfectly to counter whatever anime reference you are about to throw at it with conveniently chosen transcendent powers.

It is a metaphysical representation of our conscience. Our need to be ‘right there in the right place at the right time’
This can be seen through a similar method of ‘championship’ in the lottery. Often not requiring any skill, it’s purely an endeavor of chance with the potential prize of greatness. But it too is not what it seems, for wearing the crown carries a heavy burden unto oneself.
So too should the cookie.
The cookie steals our hearts and our minds, using them to fuel its devious machinations. It is only through 𝙵𝙾𝚁𝙲𝙴 𝙾𝙵 𝚆𝙸𝙻𝙻 that we can ever hope to fell its devious advances.
to defeat a product of bakery or pastry outside of non-metaphorical existence, one must practise true patience. the cookie, as such, is taunting us with that fact, with its’ nigh invulnerability promising possibly the most wonderful eating experience ever. but do not be fooled.
the only reason obtaining a cookie outside of the alloted times is impossible is… there is none. the cookie is just an ordinary cookie that has been imparted with rules, with order, with purpose, yet is nonexistent. its’ parralel reality cannot be comprehended by normal beings.
it is 𝓂𝒶𝓎𝒷ℯ possible to catch the cookie outside the alloted times. but not now.

besides, why would you need to rewrite the plot?
there would be no need, for 𝙸 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚍 𝚗𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐.
is it just me or is ‘don’t touch your face’ advice roughly as useful as ‘don’t think about a pink elephant’

at least it’s better advice than “your grandma is going to die”, which the british government only abandoned today
speaking of which school is cancelled from friday onwards
