and I dislike the attitude of “lol i’m so unreadable you might as well give up right now”, because it’s basically arrogant at its’ core. especially when you use it as a reason as to why the game is unfairly biased against you and how everybody’s just going to always mislynch you

katze is a good tol player, but she memes a lot in any FM game as any alignment because she’s not taking the game serious and just want to have fun

i don’t have to worry about it because i’m generally bottom PoE and rarely find myself in real danger
but also i’m really good at worming my way out of situations
the things that make his town game bad are, as far as I can tell, not deliberate
my point is that people should solve differences in their skill level across alignments by getting better at the alignment they’re worse at, not by sabotaging their play as the other alignment
this applies equally well to ‘I’m going to slank as wolf, now it’ll be easy to find me as village when I’m town’ (though I don’t see this as the primary motivation of most slankers) and ‘I’m going to intentionally play scummy as a villager so that people won’t be able to catch me when I’m scum’
