and everyone you ever loved, like or tolerated
you could never make friends happily because you’d know they would die and you would not
you’d watch the evolution of humanity and eventually you’d be seen as nothing more than a glob of primitive slime to them after millions of years
also, immortality is not agelessness, so on your millionth birthday you’d basically look like an old and shriveled husk
furthermore, what if someone found out about this power and buried you alive, or trapped you at the bottom of the sea, you’d have to choke or drown, but you’d never achieve the sweet release of death, you’d have to live in agony hoping that one day somebody will find you, but in the meantime you’d be praying for death and never get it

Immortality would be one of the worst superpowers you could ever have
