what does the flag button do? is it like for you to privately bookmark a post or??? im kind of worried im actually flagging a post for take down when i do this… :woozy_face:

nvm it is a report button took me like 5 seconds to figure that out after clicking it

It’s a way to ask the mods to take down the post. Though, if enough people flag it, the message gets hidden automatically.

If you click the “…” button under a post, you can bookmark it though

If you are really new new, a topic like this is probably helpful just to know what the hell is going on and have a space to ask questions. The welcome thread or this would be suitable. You can’t ask this in a running fm game or signups or queue status or such, because it’s not on topic typically.

For that purpose it should probably be pinned though. Maybe the same for the discourse guides you made @Chloe?

Also the OP could be cleaned up, so it doesn’t look like we’re a mess straight of the bat, rip cookie thread
