Hunter was thinking about who he should choose as a partner.

“Refresh my memory,” Magnus says. “What are the greatest achievements of your family?”
Magnus was assuming he would enjoy bragging.
“I gotta do something to make up. I gave her a bruise, and I didn’t need to hurry! I could have took a nap even if I slow walked…”
“Most people are happy with an sincere apology. Trying to pay for it is like a slap to the face, or, as Magnus would say, rubbing salt in the wound.”
“Ignorant fool who does not know of our exploits, I shall light your way with the history of my family!”
He readies his rapier.
“En Garde!”
“Aha… You thought you were going to fight one another, were you?”
The machine… remained… silent.
“Well, this thing is busted, Gotta ask the Engineering Club to fix it. So instead, you two will fight me.”
“What?! What kind of orienteering exercise is this?” Terry exclaims.
“Don’t worry, sweeties. I’ll go easy on you. Originally, you were to bring down one of these machines, which we call a combat shell. But since you can’t exactly bring me down… Land 1 hit on me. That’s all you have to do.” The instructor offers.
She isn’t just a combat instructor for nothing.
“Nothing is too hard for a Rogners.”
“Oh? Josie can’t land a hit on me either. I play with her all the time.”
“What?!”
