“Alright Posideon! Knock his teeth out and bash his head in!”
“The instructor, you doofus. I doubt any of us stands a chance against her. She is a combat instructor.”
Ferris crosses her arms.
“What is this supposed to be for…”
“I think it’s for observation?..I don’t know.”
The haughty noble began his stance.
“This is ridiculous. But as a Noble of Rogner, I will do what my sister could not!”
Sara took out a gun. It’s design was purple in colour, seemingly fitting her hair. Custom made too.
“Come on kids. We can’t be waiting forever. I’ll let you have the first move.” She provokes the two of them. A small wry smile appeared on her face.
“You mock me!” Terry rushes towards Sara, each step calculating and calibrating his rhythm.
The moment he stepped within range, he stepped down on his right leg, twisting to cause an upwards motion. He pierced the air where once stood a grinning lady, as Sara nimbly stepped to the side.
“Come on now, both of you.”
@Magnus
“Beat him up! Beat him up!”
“Beat! Him! Up!”
“Come on! Just wreck him!”
(Back on)
Magnus’s eyebrows shot up as his mouth was set into a grim line. He took a few steps towards Sara, the Trident held loosely in his hand. He swung it around, trying to not hit the instructor, as she clearly expected him to do, but to hit where he expected her to go.
“I believe Magnus and Elise will have the greatest chance of all of us. You both thinks first,” Jem says, watching Terry.
“Not true, you were pretty slick with that sword.”
As he swung the trident in the path where Terry cut off, Sara stepped directly into its trajectory.
“Is it going to hit?!” Ferris exclaimed.
A clang resounded through the grounds. The trident lands onto metal; the gun, with its pistol aimed right at the young student’s head.
“Hah! An opening!”
Terry proceeds to make a thrust at the instructor. He was all out of pretenses now, he glared onto the instructor, fully intending to win.
“My my, pretty quick on your head, I’ll give you that. Magnus has a good grasp on that trident too. But you both can do better than this.”
She pushes the trident upwards, away from her through a upward-motion kick, before charging straight at Terry.
“Who is she? She isn’t your run-of-the-mill combat instructor that’s for certain.” Ferris grumbles.
“Grr!” Terry swings his rapier to the left, doing a short uppercut. Sara again nimbly sidesteps his attempt.
“Terry’s swordsmanship isn’t lacking. His stance is solid, but the instructor is on a whole other level. I have no confidence in besting her in a duel.” Elise admits.
It seems as if the teacher is not focusing on you, Magnus. Perhaps you could try attacking her from behind?
“It’s like watching a gladiator fight…”
Magnus anticipates a trick and attempts to sweep her legs from out under her. He steps forward and, using the Trident’s flat side, he swings at the inside of her knees.
@Shurian
“She’s learning their weaknesses,” James notes. “Terry is fighting head on, while Magnus is trying to predict her movements.”
“We have to trick her,” Jem realised. “We have to mindgame.”
Magnus sweeps her legs, but she jumps; A clang resounds in the air, as rapier hits trident.
“What the!”
The instructor fires the gun, causing a gust of air to propel her backwards, away from the two of them.
She lands east of them. Chuckling.
“That was close!”
Terry stares at the teacher in bewilderment.
“That, that is cheating!”
Magnus only smiled.
“Is our exam over?” Magnus inquired. ”I know when I’m outmatched.”
“Well well, I believe that wraps it up. You two put on quite a show, I wager! Now now. Who’s coming up next?”
The lady spun her arms around, cracking her neck.
Honestly, she would be quite attractive, if she didn’t act like that, or opened her mouth.
“Argh! This is ludicrous! I say, fight me with everything you have! Am I a toy?”
The proud noble rushes at the instructor.
