Add a N6+ BD ability to solve being late game converted into loss

Background:
This scenario has happened many times to myself and everyone I know that has played the game more than just a few starting games. This is not about one or any match in particular, but rather addressing the issue of why is this type of situation even allowed to happen? Let me give an example
-Start off BD
-Call out multiple unseen and NK
-Its about to go to Night 11, there’s only 1 Unseen left who is MM. You announce that MM is definitely him and BD agree with you and you guys plan to up him next day.
-he converts you and next morning is lynched himself due to how much you were calling him out before.
-You are left a lone assassin against confirmed BDs/Prince with a healer and the chance of winning is 0%.
This kind of situation plainly should not be allowed to happen. my example seeks to outline the flaw of how one can be heavily responsible for destroying the team that you at the very end get converted into and inevitably lose with.

MY SUGGESTION (Maybe only for unseen games but could be added to all games)

Create/implement a BD-Unique ability which will become available after lets say, NIGHT SIX, that makes it so that if the Mafia faction (Cult / unseen) attempts to convert you this night, you will instead commit suicide by immolation. As a result, you will die but your logs will be burnt and not shown to the castle. If you are being HEALED or GUARDED, you will still suicide because your suicide is in reaction to the convert. Additionally, your body will only die after 1 day delay (same as reaping)

This ensures unseen gets similar value from using the ‘convert’ ability on someone who chooses suicide compared to getting a convert off successfully, as it will kill someone and destroy their logs and goes through healimg and guarding and also throws off BD by having him appear alive for one more day.
The goal is that it ensures that a BD who has made it that far (N6+) doesn’t get screwed out of a potential win that maybe he/she heavily influenced when the game is potentially not winnable for the other faction that this player is about to get converted into.

if you missed it, I repeat that this button I’m suggesting is only to appear after Night SIX. Unseen is free to convert people early on.

the reason I propose the suicide to be so loaded (Destroy logs, go through heal/guard, and 1 day delay in body dying) is because a normal conversion gives the same advantage to the mafia faction as killing 2 BD because it removes 1 BD and adds 1 Mafia member.
therefore, if a BD chooses to suicide to stay loyal to his faction, there must be trade offs.

(Edited out the spammy bold that covered 50%+ of this post. Rejoice! --Xblade)

I will smash my head against the wall if someone commits suicide when we need to convert them.

What a selfish suggestion. He has every right to convert you as it is his best chance of winning. You are a terrible person

Ngl that was harsh

If you are going to give me a scenario, let me give you a scenario. Gaining a majority thanks to your last convert. This has happened many times and lots of people were converted into a win.

oh yeah confirmed phys confirmed GK confirmed merc and a prince

1 MM who has been outed and is about to get upped first thing tomorrow morning

show me a single thing that 1 MM can do here to not have a 0% chance of losing at this point in a game
and how converting 1 person into an assassin is balanced

Saying that the merc is evil?

this is not me being salty about a specific match, this kind of thing happens frequently to everyone and some mechanics clearly need to be changed.
you guys are focusing on the specific game when the point I’m making is still true
(In other examples there isn’t a single neut that you can accuse)

you’re missing the point that the fact that it’s even possible to be converted into a guaranteed loss scenario warrants fixing.

No mechanics need to be changed. The difference between winning and losing is 30 GP. That is worth literally nothing. Stop being selfish, it was his best chance of winning.

I mean you weren’t converted into a loss. There is still the chance you could of got someone mislynched because BD=brain dead.

It looks like salt to me and when you are finding the unseen, you should be ready to get converted/killed. Since they will try to do that. I am also pretty sure you have had games where you were converted into a win. You never know what would happen.

People who argue against Unseen buffs and advocate for nerfs to Mastermind push my buttons.

I honestly think Mastermind should have permanent or at least get to choose when he gets immunity to checks because Mastermind is such an important class. Mastermind should be found solely by social deduction IMO.

“Getting converted into a loss” is a really bad phrase. It screams “I am salty.”

Imagine this. Every BD alive activates this ability D5 in a unseen game. People hang the assassin and the mystic turns into assassin. MM just kills everyone they visits and they can’t get majority because they can’t convert.

It’s a game breaking strat tbh.

If you were a butler, why didn’t you party

Tbh I feel like we are overly harsh to people suggesting things we don’t like and for that I’m sorry D:

Maybe he wasted them all but it won’t change anything here.

None of you can read and you’re still focusing on the specific instance when this is a problem that happens in general.
You’re saying butler bla bla bla still and overlooking the point
