The alche is something that can throw the game out of favor for the BD*
BD shouldnât be directly punished by killing any Neut (except Fool ofc) imo since they can side with any faction.
Alchemist is pretty strong where it is right now because it is capable of healing poison and bleeds, killing with yolobomb and can give themselves night immunity.
Even Fool shouldnât do that tbqh
Itâs kind of the whole point of the Fool though.
I think we should rethink the punishment for it, because it sucks to do nothing for 1, or even a whole 2 days.
I donât think we will be able to get boslofs favorite class removed since thatâs what orange wants.
Everyone/half (maybe) of the executors will be occupied, not piercing immunity?
That way not everyone will be taken out of action, and itâs only for one night
And if king forces it, then nothing happens
Oh God, thatâs his favorite class?
He really isnât human! I knew no real person could program as fast as he does!
It took you THAT long to realize? Heâs an apple you fool
No
No more Fool
Make it stop
lol
Still arguing about this, huh?
I think Fool is a good class, even if I do get Orangeâs argument.
But tbh no voting whole for possibly 2 whole days sucks. The FoL version is a bit better I think.
Anyway, I think the fact that people are arguing over whether the Alchemist should always be lynched or never be lynched shows that itâs mostly fine.
(Personally I think itâs stupid for BD to lynch / execute alchemist claims unless they have some reason to think theyâre evil, but the fact is that they do sometimes do it.)
I rarely play games where alchemists are wrongly executed. I think the problem is actually the opposite: Alchemists are too often Kingmakers. Itâs too easy to win as Alchemist. Maybe reduce their stoneskin to 3 so if they donât want to get killed by evils, they have to put more effort into cooperating with them.
+1 Kingmakers is something we need to avoid as much as possible
I think Alchemist should only have 2-3 charges of Stone Skin. Once you make it to n3 or so, thereâs very little risk for the Alchemist from that point forward assuming youâve saved your SS.
What is the FoL version? I think the current punishment for Fool is fine but would be interested in other ideas.
While Iâm all for the âneuts outâ movement, I have found it easy to trust alchs who are honest with you.
Now you might be asking yourself. How can you tell if an alchemist is trustworthy or not?
In a game of deception, itâs not easy to tell if someoneâs just yanking your chain, but during the last game I played, IâŚahemâŚRPâd as a certain playerâs slayer, pretending to act out on my rage against a player that had a disagreement with me during the last match. (Yeah I know my logs didnât show the deb n1, whoops, but that would of never been the problem if you would of investigated the THREE sheriff claims instead of a knight claimâŚ)
I forgot his name, but I was âBewb Haunterâ the Good King. During the game I said that âwhile I am the good king, if youâre boob I will ex youâ to spread some doubt around my subjects, and then even more so d2 when I asked everyone to claim if they were boob or not. forgot my exact words there, but I didnât get as many claims as I did before, but it worked. I had 2 people claim ânot boobâ who turned out to be OG unseen, and I had three key claims. observer, knight, and alch.
This was at least a night ago, so I canât give a play by play, but I can at least tell you a key moment which lead me to victory AS THE ONLY BD LEFT ALIVE. Remember that first alch that claimed to me? During the game he yoloâd bd twice, BUT HE WAS HONEST. He told me right then and there âSorry I killed the prince.â the day the prince came up dead, and again when he killedâŚI think it was a sheriff? Normally yoloâing alchs get exâd as soon as theyâre found out, but this alch put his trust in me (probably because he thought I was nk tbh lol), but because I didnât take him out for his mistakes, I had him on my side until the end, as well as a second alch. The alchs teamed up to keep me healed as well as the second used his alch bombs to take out the surviving unseen, even though the situation was 2 unseen vs 1 good king vs 2 neuts. It was probably a rare moment in this game, but our neutral trust lead us into a double alch bd victory. I even gave them the opportunity to bomb me to end the game by exe one of the unseen myself that night, but they stuck with me.
Moral of the story: Support an Alch, and they will support you in return.
Also, That second alch that saved my bacon? He was boob.
Nobody who voted to execute the Fool can vote the next day, and donât count towards to the majority I think. Either that or everybody who voted up the Fool.
I donât like that, it punishes evils for making a good play (by executing the fool).
Moral of the story: Support an Alch, and they will support you in return.
No ⌠if you had executed the alch before he bombed Prince, you wouldnât have needed him to help you secure the victory in the end
Still has a huge impact on who can and canât be voted. And if theyâre clever, they can even lynch someone scoring an extra kill, assuming their close to victory anyways.
If all but 1 Unseen votes to execute, that 1 Unseen gets a free kill if they are willing to die.
Most Alchs donât just bomb, and although he killed the Prince, he saved the game so he had a neutralish impact.
Alch is way too BD sided for my taste.
