A Good Idea: Easy Wispering Shortcut.
Right Click player in the list on the right hand side to whisper them…
What you want to whisper gets typed into a pop up box, like the trollbox and psy message…
Text Input will automatically switch to the Pop Up box so you can just start typing.
Hit send to send the wisper (Or also add a ‘Hit Enter’ to send message also.)
This will stop people from making the following mistakes:
- Trying to whisper a dead person (And message getting displayed for public)
- Accidentally typing message incorrectly and gets displayed in chat
- Accidentally whispering the wrong person
- Time saving… dont have to look up someones number and then to type eg. “/w 2 Message”
You could always keep the old way of messaging… but include this as an alternative. That way you are keeping people who prefer the oldskool whispering happy and those that would prefer a quicker way to whisper happy.
