“fundamental nature of society” can want what they want.
We’re no society. We are just some gamers in a community.
but dont we LIVE in a society
we LIVE in a society, tho
That also accomplishes people exactly skirting that line. I believe the ToL moderation system also doesn’t do this to avoid that. Also I’m just a player now, so I don’t need to do anything.
fuck we had the same idea
You’re also using out of game knowledge to defend yourself. Only you would know why you were gone.
Explain to me why that is allowed.
I am a Judge. I won’t execute the fundamental nature of society, whatever they are. I will execute the rules.
It’s a curtesy thing
Like you can theoretically in the rules of Monopoly take 5 hours to take your turn
People will hate you, but you can do it
And next match they will write a rule about it, because they saw that they needed one.
Because nothing is black and white and acting like having some gray situations means the black situations don’t have merit is stupid. Think there are few people who would disagree that pinging informed spectators and demanding information out of them is angleshooting and wrong for instance.
So you’re telling me that because the host failed to do their job they take this bs excuse called ‘angleshooting’ to cover for it when the player did nothing wrong.
Right.
“global rules” “gray areas”
These two things have nothing to do with each other???
Because you are aware of your own alignment and any other person is not.
The spirit of the game is that everybody pretends to actually be in the situation of the game without roleplaying it, and thus any information other than the text in the thread or the text created by the host or some other weird bastard things should be ignored.
Please tell me why this makes a difference
I dunno. Not in the discord.
Reeee, well, the thing you sent to Wazza ended up in #justice, so much I can tell you.
My (somewhat bad) definition of Angleshooting:
Using information inside of the thread (such as someone being bled almost at the same time someone else came onto the thread) to unorthodoxically determine more information about the game than would otherwise be possible.
The first word is already a problem.
Yeah, but at least we are trying to find a definition. Instead of saying “honor system”… and ending up punishing people for “angleshooting” while we don’t even can say what it is.
