i’m sure you don’t have very fond memories of him but i’m certain he’s grown more mature at least somewhat or at least won’t act that stupidly on purpose again
personal advice is to not judge people based on their past but to always keep it in the back of your mind

Essentially, the goal of moderation here is NOT to strictly define everything you can an cannot do.
The goal of moderation here is to make the game more enjoyable and more fair to all parties involved.
And that just so happens to also leak in stricter definitions. We don’t need strict rules, we need enjoyable and fun rules. We need rules that make the game more enjoyable for everyone involved.
However, despite this, moderation requires clear cut rules. It needs to make a gradient from black to white, and decide between which two nearly identical cases the line is drawn. However, you also have to consider different tiers of punishment. From warnings to permanent blacklists, there is a range of things to use for punishment. Going back to the 2 nearly identical cases, the one case which would be punished should at most get a warning. Now, this line between cases will always be fluctuating by the very nature of Moderation. But we still have tools to punish the almost right to the deviously wrong.
In short: Moderation brings strict definitions, but does not require it.

Of course, we plan to take over Blizzard with the help of some dark magic and replace or train all the incompetent people so that they make good, fun games again.
