Even if that would get allowed in future (which is, if done on purpose, simply cheating imo), it wouldn’t change that rules got hypothetically broken in the past.
Oh so them do it before we unban it
Got it thanks Priestess
My spectator chats are going to have a disclaimer at the start that it’s going public no matter what is said in it tbh.
Including mafia chats.
Just put it in the OP of your game
ayaya
sulit why
butter
You sure? When private chats got not publicized, it normally happened for good reasons.
If there’s a warning there likely won’t be anything in there that people wouldn’t want to be public tho.
And if there is that’s their fault
I have had two chats I’ve ever been in not made public and only 1 was for good reasons imo
If it’s known ahead of time it will always be public there will be no issues.
I played a game on TOS where 4 players basically voted on lynches from effectively a spec chat. It was a town stomp, as mafia had no one to push a scum agenda where it mattered
This doesn’t stop the paranoia of some people.
If people decide to spew some tea, or they talk about personal stuff, that’s for DMs
Not my spectator or mafia chats
But… they aren’t allowed to, right? I mean talking about the game outside of mafia chat.
i assure you there were immensely justifiable reasons for keeping SFV spec chat private
not sure about any others
If it’s about the game then it should be inside my spectator chats
If they decide to diss someone’s play, alright
But it’s going public
DRFM scum kept one channel private but released the rest, which is about ideal as far as I can tell
Locking away an entire chat devalues a lot of the learning potential of the game for everyone not on the scumteam
I think not a single of my mafia chats was public later. For one, you want to talk with your partners freely, without having to worry about it getting public later. For second, it allows people to metaread you based on your mafia chat, and I see not a world where I’d want that.
