Announcement: Updated Policy on Replacements

Dude every other mafia site ever manages to work just fine with public scum chats and people still play fine

Plus your current partners have access anyways, you’re fooling yourself if you think that does anything meta-wise

You wanting to keep yourself from having to evolve is not a valid reason to prevent others from valuable learning opportunities they can use to improve themselves.

Not to mention the dig at Kyo was completely unnecessary.

it’s my honest opinion that the nature of whether private chats should be publicized or not should always be left up to host discretion

a rule mandating it wont ever happen. Nor should it.

(Fyi, this could also be bad.)
(Chloe couldn’t predict who Leafia would nightkill in BfA because she didn’t have access to her thoughts.)

As long as one person is against publicizing it, you CANNOT publicize it, or you are breaching their privacy.

If it’s known it will be ahead of time, that’s on them.

I think it’s easier to fool a few scum partners and play around them instead of having to ‘fool’ the entire site?
Never claimed to be a mafia expert or whatever lmao, so I’m not disputing if other sites work/don’t work with open scum chats. What I’m saying is that I’m against mandatory publicizing of scum chats.

But Orange, won’t my scum partners get valuable l earning opportunities in this case?

Also it wasn’t even a ‘dig’.

If there is a disclaimer at the start saying
“This chat is going to be publicised”
You can’t then go ahead and force it private

Fucking

“I only want to fool part of the game not the whole game”

It’s Mafia my guy

This is just

That’s not how privacy works. You always have a right for deletion (at least if you are a EU citizen like me)

Leafia was literally LW.
The point of LW is… that they are LW? So separated from main scum – of course she wouldn’t be able to predict her actions.

Sounded pretty rude to me, hence my disappointment

You can delete your stuff

Your entire account can be wiped and anonymized in compliance with GDPR

Don’t worry Orange, I thought it’s universally known that I’m a disappointment.
Carry on.

Nowhere does that protect you from scumchats being made public

Because if it’s that big of an issue take the GDPR nuclear option

Problem solved
