Ashie's Class Suggestion Thread (2 NEW CLASSES ADDED!)

MORTICIAN (NEUTRAL KILLER):

Passive Ability 1:
Dark Aura: If you are killed at night, the player who used said ability on you will become a Mortician.

Passive Ability 2:
Magical Combo: You may talk with other Morticians at night freely, however only one Mortician may use an ability at a time. There may be a maximum of 3 Morticians (for balance).

Day Ability 1:
Curse: Cast a magical spell on a non-Mortician player, they will become a Mortician in two nights if they are not healed by a Physician or Alchemist. They will not know they are cursed until they have one night left on their count. See below for immune classes. Uses: 2

Night Ability 1:
Spell of Despair: Attempt to kill target player. Uses: Infinite

Night Ability 2:
Bribe: Attempt to convert target player into a Mortician. Uses: 1

Immune Classes:
These classes are immune to being a Mortician:
Prince
King
Unseen
Cult
Possessor
Reaper
Paladin

5/25/17: Sorry, took a long break from ToL as a whole. Changed all of my classes to include “Unseen” in their descriptions instead of “Black Rose”.

GUARDIAN (BLUE DRAGON SUPPORT):

Passive Ability 1:
Fearless: Immune to being occupied at night.

Day Ability 1:
Lock Eyes: Give another player a threatening stare, disabling their Night Ability for the next night. Uses: 2

Night Ability 1:
Redirect: Stand guard at your door, anyone who visits you tonight will instead visit your target player. Uses: 2

Night Ability 2:
Guard: Stand guard at another player’s house, if someone attempts to attack, collect the soul of, possess, or occupy your target your presence will scare them off. Uses: Infinite

Unseen Equivalent: The Watchdog
Cult Equivalent: The Ritualist

THE WATCHDOG (CONVERTED GUARDIAN, UNSEEN SUPPORT)

Passive Ability 1:
Fearless: Cannot be occupied at night.

Passive Ability 2:
Eagle Eyesight: On even nights, you will know who visits the Assassin at night. On odd nights, you will know who visits the Mastermind at night.

Day Ability 1:
Threaten: Verbally threaten a player, they will use their Night Ability on a player of your choice. Uses: 2

Night Ability 1:
Guard Dog: Summon a guard dog to prevent the death of the Assassin tonight. If anyone visits the Assassin, the guard dog will scare them away. Uses: 1

so they can convert from the cult and black rose? that seems a little strong

Interesting, definately needs some tweaks though

First of all, make it so they only become Mortician if they kill you not if they occupy you

I quite like this idea.
While it’s strong, it certainly has potential I’d say.
The concept is interesting.

Thanks! I tried to come up with a good concept for hours, and I came up with this.

Paladin and Sheriff should be immune so as to keep the Cult/BR in check

I would say paladin should possibly be able to kill morticians or convert them back to their original class if they had one.

not really since paladin is only in cult games

Morticians could also appear during a cult game. Morticians would probably spread like rabbits. Paladin is immune to convert. Therefore, if a paladin kills a mortician, it would not be converted.

It would also keep them in check.

yea because cult is not having a hard time already

Paladin is a Cult Counter only stop trying to make it do things it shouldn’t

There can only be a maximum of 3. Paladin would just be OP if it could kill Cult (already struggling) and Moritcians. I agree with making Paladin immune, but I’m not so sure about Sheriff, especially since other roles can find Black Rose as well (although I know Sheriff only appears in BR games)

Great ideas, but there are some changes that I feel are in order

Watchdog- Day- Threaten- 2 uses- Verbally threaten a player. Their night ability will be disabled during the next night, and you will be able to use it if you wish. (That way it helps claiming)

Watchdog- Passive 2 - Specto- You will know the names of any players who visit Black Rose members.
