Assassin in the Palace is a special kind of forum mafia. What makes this special? There is only one scum - The Assassin. The assassin has one goal - Kill the king. They only can kill once, so if they miss… they lose and the king and his guards win. If they kill the king, only the Assassin wins.

Unlike normal forum mafia games - All of the guards know exactly who the king is, but not who each other are. The number one priority for the guards is to keep the king’s identity a secret.

Rules :scroll:

  • Standard forum rules apply. No cheating/discussing the game outside/toxicity.
  • The game is nightless - Immediately after a lynch, the game will resume.
  • The assassin can kill ONCE per game. The game ends once they kill someone.
  • If the assassin is lynched, they must immediately use their kill if they haven’t yet. If it hits the king, the assassin still wins.
  • As the assassin, to perform your game ending assassination, just type /Kill PlayerName in the thread.
  • Voting is the same as usual - when majority is reached on someone, they die.
  • If no players have been lynched for 72 hours after the previous lynch - A random guard will die. (This is to prevent guards stalling out the game and refusing to lynch anyone.)
  • If a guard or the king types /kill PlayerName, they will be immediately modkilled with no warnings. This is to prevent people mechanically confirming that they aren’t the assassin.

Your objective is to live, no matter the cost. If you die, you and all of your guards lose. Don’t let the assassin learn your identity!

Royal Guard

You are a knight of the king! Your goal is to protect King (PlayerName) at all costs! Don’t let the assassin learn his identity!

Assassin

Assassinate - Kill a player. If you are lynched before you can use this ability, you must use it immediately. - 1 Use.
You infiltrated this castle to perform one task - Kill the king at any cost. If your assassinate ability kills the king, you win. You do not need to survive to win.

I played this set up a lot on that online mafia site and every time some dumbass civ would massively fail a wifom about the mayor leading to assasin winning. Imma /join but you best rig it so I get assassin marl :pray:.

i remember seeing this game somewhere , i think its one of the shortest mafia games ever recorded because the assassin didn’t read the class card properly and yolo’d a kill? might just be me
