Autumn Invitational - Day 4 (5/13) - Town Wins!

I would think wolves would make a more concerted effort if that was the case
People I have seen put the most legwork in are people that are blatantly obviously town

And outside that you get people like cent/orange/kat
And outside that you get people who arenā€™t really trying very hard

Iā€™d theoretically want to put focus in this category but like
lazy

Well one of us is me and the other claimed PR

kat rescinded iirc

in my experience that doesnā€™t really apply on this site

maybe this would be different since itā€™s an invitational? but the standard wolf approach to getting PoEā€™d on this forum is ā€˜continue to do nothingā€™

Wrong

That sounds depressing

ok
consider that this is a dumb approach since wolves know they need to actually step up this game to win

not as depressing as the fact that despite that the scum winrate on this site is still like 80 percent

big oof

your argument relies on the assumption that wolves always play optimally/in the way that gives them the best chance of winning, as opposed to getting demotivated if the game goes poorly for them and letting that demotivation affect them (e.g. Marson 1, JoaT^2, Shortnight)

Okay but itā€™s D1

i dont think thats an accurate assessment of either of these games tbh

this argument assumes they are at least trying
not that they are playing optimally
itā€™s early in the game

this was to orange

shortnight litterally was 3 lylos with 2 ics

I mean I was literally a wolf in Shortnight

like yes ā€˜Seth is an ICā€™ is what, on a practical level, won the game for town but ā€˜wolves get demotivated and play suboptimallyā€™ was definitely a thing that happened

Iā€™m also just suggesting that we need to consider people who are trying a bit more instead of going residentsleeper
