It’s not too uncommon for experienced players on Botc to hardclaim roles day 1 and then maybe retract day 1. The experience of this game is meant for bluffing, which means both good and evil will bluff this game.
Good players bluffing might be players who wish to keep themselves alive because their effect is powerful or possible deterimental to the evil team.
Good players might also bluff because they themselves can’t die to Demon so they try to waste Demon’s time by bluffing a role that might be attracts the nightkill
I encourage you not to clear this type of behaviour especially from an experienced player such as Amelia
