When this thread was first created, 10 out of the last 12 games were wolf wins

Looking over the last 12 games now…

  1. Thing Game (town win)
  2. Vig10 (town win)
  3. Umineko FM (scum win)
  4. Quantum (scum win)
  5. SFoL 65 (town win)
  6. Shortnite 2 (scum win)
  7. EFoL 4.75 (town win)
  8. Clown Fiesta 2 (scum win)
  9. Morphogenetic Mafia (scum win)
  10. Gay Mafia (scum win)
  11. JoaT^3 (scum win)
  12. Catgirl Jester Nightless (town win)

I might have missed something, but I don’t think so. So, out of the last 12 games, 5 have been town wins and 7 have been scum wins. That’s not literally 50/50, but it’s fairly even.

And I feel like I hear the idea a lot that it’s surprising when town wins, or that if things start going badly for town then you should basically just give up, because ‘scum always wins.’ But … that’s not actually true, when we look at the numbers.

Reading the games I feel like this is thanks to greater town cohesion, tbfh.

It’s less about giving a shit and that people here are actually willing to talk shit out rather than spend the entire game deathtunneling a player for a perceived bad intro, paranoia, or a gut feeling.
