I will say, not claiming did not help Town at all, if otherwise, it made it worse for them.
In my NKsons game, if I was told to claim (And I was pushed onto claim properly by Mode) I would’ve been screwed and exposed extremely quickly. Also, alternate accounts have completely flipped around the point of reading for me and made it so me wanting to play Town just isn’t there anymore and the amount of games that are running right now (4 are currently running with 1 more in signups I think) also won’t help Town as people can get burnt out quickly.
TL;DR: Claiming doesn’t help Town, but neither does not-claiming, alt accounts make it harder for Town to win and trust each other, the amount of games isn’t helping at all.
I mean I think it’s up to people to… not sign up for too many games if they are going to get burnt out
Also I think alts are fine
they just take away meta
which is… good. This site. overrelies on meta, and you can still read people by what they post in the thread and not past games
Personally I found playing on an alt in WoW:BfA was a good experience where I could try out a different playstyle without people knowing I was Marshal and having that meta weigh down on me.

take it from me (someone who’s spent far more hours trying it than anyone else)
it’s bias-prone, it’s shit, and it’s a perennial torpedo
if alts will help reduce this site’s reliance on meta, then good.
