Honestly they’re all more or less balanced but we are very close to overdiversifying FoL with new roles, changing the feel (AND overall balance) of the game. More importantly our community will grow quicker if it’s just ToL on a forum as opposed to new ppl having to learn ToL with a 101 new crazy roles.

I think we should only add new roles to normal FoL if they bring something bery unique and are absolutely amazing and unanimously LOVED by everyone (like revenant) or are needed for balance reasons (like acolyte).

They might be cool for a SFOL game though :blush:

Ok. Here is a problem I have:
The class cards begin to heavily derivate from what TOL is.

  1. Some abilities or even classes cannot work in FOL, they can and should be replaced.
    The Reaper class is an example of that, as are Blur and other chat- meddling abilities.

2.All Patch notes should be implemented, unless they obviously cannot work in FOL.(Example: A second Reaper like class is being introduced)

3.The unofficial classes should- except as a replacement for a class that can not exist(so a neutral Killer for Reaper) or a temporary class for identified balance problems in FOL(you have more time to talk, so claimspace is more important)- be used very sparingly in normal(!) FOL games, and they should be announced before. Some tests used sparingly are ok, lots of unofficial roles are not because you may not identify bad ideas.

  1. Any derivations from usual gameplay should be announced before openly.

This way, normal TOL players will actually be able to join FOL games without heavy difficulties.
And it puts a stop to games that are totally unbalanced because of bad unofficial classes.
