What about my merchant? In terms of Ability’s I mean. Weather or not the noble or whatever new class we come up with is the vote manip class or the spying class is semantics exept with which one gets royal blood. In my mind however Noble has always been a spy.
Bounty feels like it’s way too niche to me, but I really like the idea of Overtime. Extending trials is a pretty special and overall useful ability.
You think extra trials is niche!?
For now I have Noble as the vote manipulator (mechanically Nuclear’s Merchant) and Scribe as the spy (mechanically identical to the previous version of Noble).
Oh shoot, I misread it, Actually both abilities seem really overall useful, although Bounty does rely on a misplay from Blue Dragon to activate.
Being able to lynch the entire Unseen or even the cult if you add the prince in 1 day night cycle seems OP to me. Remember he isn’t Unique although on my original post I’m pretty sure I mentioned that if 2 of them use the same Ability on the same target then it doesn’t stack.
Plus this way if you wanted to test an apostle in a cult game you would be giving the cult a free mislynch.
I see where you’re coming from then. It’s a shame we can only have two day and night abilities for each class.
I’m beginning to realize that having 4 social classes could get a little crazy. Isn’t that a max of 6 social classes assuming Priest is Unique?
We would need more of other types to compensate. Let’s brainstorm some.
Maid and mistress for one.
Social or other types? And I don’t think having 4 social classes is too crazy, I mean, I feel that having Social classes drives the genre of “SOCIAL” deduction.
People good at Social classes are good at the game.
Other classes give direct feedback.
And I"ll pull my reworks from other classes too.
Acolyte Dump First
Maid and Mistress
Still though. In the BD if this goes through it would be: 4 social, 2 Support, 3 Killer, 3 Invest (sheriff and pally go together). I guess it would not be too bad but there should be a balance between them.
Well, with this we’d have:
4 Social (About as many Investigatives, though only Sheriff or Paladin can appear in the same game)
4 Investigative, but practically 3 due to Sheriff/Paladin thing. I do like the Maid, and that would bump it up to 4
3 Killers, I think that’s good enough
2 Support, though I can’t think of how we could add more
Old Support Reworks and Suggestions
Well @NightX,
totaling all the rework ideas from my thread and yours,
4 Social (Priest, Psychic, Noble, Scribe)
4 Investigative (Sheriff/Paladin, Observer, Princess, Maid)
3 Killers (Prince, Hunter, Knight)
4 Support (Physician, Court Wizard, Baron, Squire)
2 Offensive (Butler, Drunk)
would make some well balanced class ratios except Offensive and Killer
Duelist- Blue Dragon Killer
Passive 1: Competitive - Occupy and Redirect immune
Passive 2: Last stand - If you are the last Blue Dragon alive then you can use both night ability’s at the same time.Night Ability 1: Parry - If Target player tries to target you with an action then remove thier immunitys and make them target themselves. Every successful use of this ability gives you a use of strike. (Unlimited)
Night Ability 2: Strike - Occupy and kill the target. This Ability will be disabled if you kill a BD. The Occupy will fail if the kill does (the kill is not dependent on the Occupy)(0 uses)
Lancer - Unseen Offensive
Passive 1: Competitive - Occupy and Redirect immune
Passive 2: Berserk - If the Mastermind is dead then Stagger has unlimited uses and Occupies the target.
Day Ability 1: Guard stance - Grapple effects target’s visitor’s instead of yours and doesn’t inform the person that gets parried of the redirect. (3 uses)
Day Ability 2: Grapple - Parry secretly redirects ALL visitors to the target bypassing their redirect Immunity. The targets immunitys are removed so long as you have at least 1 visitor. (4 uses)Night ability 1: Parry - Same as Duelist.(Unlimited)
Night ability 2: Stagger - Dissable the targets passives for 2 nights (including this one) (2 uses)
Should probably be Unique?
And is the point of Duelist to Occupy, Redirect, and Kill?
Seems pretty useful and really different from Hunter and Knight.
And Prince for that matter. (Consistency)
Parry and Strike seem good for Duelist.
I like the abilities but what is Berserk for?
Anyways that is 4 killers
