Fun fact. There was a point in time where it was possible for all 14 non unseen could be Conversation immune by N2
4 CW targets
Prince
Priest
king
NK
3 non merc neuts
Reaped/killed by NK
Killed by assasain
Got 13, what’s the last 1?
I do agree though, those days were rough as heck to play as unseen… nothing was as frustrating as getting to n5 with all failed conversions back to back, doubly so as cult when you really really need a convert or 2 before you start killing
edit:
oh wait missed the N2. so, more deads/ 1 revived.
4 CW targets
Prince
Priest
King
Revived person
2 scouts (those are as good as conversion Immunity)
4 Non merc Neuts
2 Unseen/Cult
That adds up to 16
Then what would you think if Blessing and Renewal reverted back to the original form I had
Revert blessing and remove the conversion immune part for Renewal (not the notifying if converted part however)
Sorry, I don’t understand. What is your suggestion?
OG Blessing: Choose one player and recharge one of their limited abilites - Infinite Night
I am against that ability, man. There are so many overpowered uses for it.
Just imagine a Physician having the ability to raise a new Death Knight every 3 turns. A Prince with unlimited executions, until he hits a BD. A King that can verify every one. Unlimited Double Kills on an Assassin and the list goes on.
Having limited uses for the abilities is exactly what balances most of them.
Okay, I can see your point, then we should brainstorm for a new unlimited ability for Priest
What about this one? The kind of thing that the Enforcer has.
Blessing: (Unlimited) (Night)
Choose one player and guarantee that their actions will succeed tonight. (Exceptions are Psychic’s Link Minds and anyone you cannot visit)
Then some teamwork could start happening with a Priest Blessing a Knight who Cold Steels a Possessor or MM, etc.
Don’t like it. Too much like CW again. How about have it swap passives between 2 targets until the end of the next night?
So if you chose a psychic and a mastermind then the mastermind gets to speak to the dead for the next night (not anonymous) and the psychic is night immune on the night you used the ability. Make it able to target self too.
I find that switching passives would cause so many issues in my opinion
Like what? I can make exceptions for some of them of course
Well okay they wouldn’t cause bugs and things, but I feel like switching around Royal Blood and things like the Fool’s passives would get shady, Sorry but I don’t like the idea of changing passives
Like I said it could not work on some passives. Fool’s, Hunter’s and Merc’s for example.
Oh simple things like occupy immunity and stuff then?
Like this:
Night ability 1: Blessing - Swap all passives between 2 players. Passives that trigger on execution, cause suicide or only have limited uses cannot be swapped. (Unlimited)
I also feel like passives that only apply to certain classes or abilities shouldn’t be touched, like Cult Leader’s Sacrifice, or how the Reaper uses Souls
Given that definition the following passives could not be swapped:
In the shadows
Consume soul
Armored
Will of mithras
Holy blessing
Retribution
Looking for work
Failure
It also would not work on king
So basically he would swap passives from no one to no one. I mean, with so many limitations, his gameplay would be a constant “prevented” festival.
