The Crier (Neutral Social)

Immune to Convert

Passive: Public Service - Thanks to being a Public service, you will be protected by officials at night, unable to be killed but you can’t whisper to anyone.

Passive: Public Speaker - Whenever you say the full name of a player, they will be alerted by a bell sound

Day Ability 1: Announcement (3 uses)
The next thing you type will be slightly larger text than the rest of the chat.

Day Ability 2: Headline (2 use)
The next thing you type will appear in front of everyone’s screen for 10 seconds.

Night Ability 1: Newsletter (2 uses)
Choose a living target, reveal their Journal to everyone in the beginning of the day, but not who’s it is.

Goal: Get at least 5 people to say a given phrase without asking anyone to say it. Once somebody says the phrase, you’ll recieve a little bell sound. Once 5 people have said the phrase, a large bell will sound.

Phrases could include:

Unicorns Don’t Exist
Praise Adiart
Praise Mithras
Praise Corax
Praise Teemo
Trial By Combat

Is there anyway to prevent them from asking, or is it just against the rules to ask them to say it as crier? also, are the phrases assigned?

Of course it’d be a rule for the Class.

The Phrases will be randomly generated from a Phrase generator of preset things that would be related to ToL like I listed.

What does the abilities have to do with the wincon ?

Because they are abilities that are chat related and to get people’s attention

But that does not help their wincon at all.
Plus the wincon is not good if I’m being honest with you.
People playing this class will be whispering “say this phrase please” “say this please” and spamming people whispers or chat.
I don’t know if you did this for fun but it looks pointless to me.

Ruby was saying that a Neutral Social would be hard to create.

This is a fun way of making one.

It’s semi-serious.

Also notice that I said “without asking” - if need be, can always make a Passive to disable whispering to people.

The Abilities will help in some ways. If the Phrase is “Praise Teemo” then the Crier can post things like

“Hey everyone, let’s all Praise Teemo” or something.

Even if you said “without asking anyone” you think that will happen ? You trust online players that much ?
Let’s say some one has “the unseen are evil” as a phrase how would you expect them getting people to say it without spamming ? Any pointless thing said in a game gets ignored.
