The Demon

The Demon: A “killer” class that belongs to a Neutral Faction.
The Demon can’t be converted to any faction.

Art :

Passive
Cloak Of Mithras : Immune to death and occupation at night

Day ability 1:
Haemophilia : Increases the power of Funeral Pyre at Night (One day cooldown) - 3 uses

Day ability 2:
Shape shifter : ShapeShifter (Day) if your target dies by Execution today his class will be shown to be the demon - 1 use

Night Ability 1:

  • Funeral Pyre: Set your target ablaze. If Haemophilia is used, anyone who comes in contact with the target is eaten alive by the half-melted corpse.

Night room : A bloody mess of a dormitory with torches of the highest temperature scattered inside

Lore : Slighted by the lack of blood sacrifices, Mithras sent the Demon to punish the Cult, and all who refuse to follow him

Objective : The Demon’s objective is to torment and burn any player who goes against him inlcudes Blue Dragon, The unseen, The Cult and Neutral Killers.

Excellent idea, and it was a pleasure to work with you on it.

A few ideas

1: Deception: Day: 2 uses: redirect votes from one person to another.

That is so if you use it on yourself, people won’t know for sure.

  1. Skeleton Closet (renamed from Hell’s whistleblower): Can listen to the dead at night. You may speak, and the dead will believe you are a priest.

  2. Hemophilia: The first “half-melted corpse” you create will rise up as a skeleton. Their job is to survive for three days. . If they win, they die that night, and if you happen to win, that player wins as well. If you win before they complete their job as a skeleton, they win as well.

(This change allows the Demon to claim priest with someone who will work with them.)

Nah posting would make it obvious there is a demon in game. Also Claiming priest will become old real quick. deception is supposed to be the last defence mechanism that will possibly win you the game, You’re supposed to use it after people figured out that you are the demon.

there’s only 2 passive slots tho
but Shapeshift only affects psychic so you could get rid of it

Also, I recommend Haemophilila (This is the correct spelling btw) should have a cooldown, as doing this for 3 nights in a row is gonna be real powerful

Those were merely ideas to add on, not the original post. They were denied.

Also, it is spelled “Hemophilia” if you’re American. I am,but truth be told I’m unsure which form of the English language is primarily used but I assumed it was American-Spelling as I haven’t spotted any discrepancies within the game yet.

Do you think i should add that if he’s jailed or role blocked he kills them ? (that would mean i would have to remove the passive of not getting role blocked) the demon will kill the prince if he’s not executed. “Swipe the person occupying you or jailing you with your claws killing them” or should it just stay the same ?

This name should change :stuck_out_tongue: He is a neutral killer, so he should have nothing to do with Cult and their Gods, otherwise they would be a Cultist too.

The lore doesn’t not add up to Cult’s lore. Don’t forget the only way for Cult to kill is with sacrifices making their gods kill, so this would mean the Cult wouldn’t be able to kill (according to this lore)

Overall… needs some minor changes mentioned above, but pretty nice class. :thumbsup: from me too!

My first lore was that he was caught trying to steal Mithras powers, got caught and banished. Does that sound good ?

None of it ever contradicted with the Cult lore.

“The Reapers of Corax” shows that before the Reaper arrived, the Cult performed sacrifices on children presumably to please Corax. It also shows that the Reaper comes from Corax but still attacks the Cult. Therefore, the original lore and ability names are fine, and I suggest they are reverted. However, if you really do want to change it, go ahead.

I wouldn’t necessarily call this an argument where I have to be proven wrong, but the case presented by tryphon was disproven. If there is some fatal flaw, either of you can say something, and we can all work it out.

mhm… I will check Reaper’s lore… it just doesn’t sound right in my opinion… Keep it as it shrugs
