[Class Suggestion] The Gladiator and The Renegade

We could really use another Blue Dragon Offensive class, and I though reworking NuclearBurrito’s Duelist and Gladiator could be a good way to go about it.

The Gladiator
Blue Dragon Offensive

Competitive (Passive) - Immune to occupation and redirection. However, you can never be made immune to conversion.
Last Stand (Passive) - If you are the last Blue Dragon, you gain an additional use of Riposte. Additionally, Riposte will kill its target.

Challenge (Day) - Resets all votes. Only you or your target may be voted for the rest of the day. (1 use)

Parry (Night) - If your target visits you, remove their immunities and redirect them to themselves. Every successful use of this ability gives you an additional use of Riposte. (Infinite uses)
Riposte (Night) - Disable your target’s passives, and remove their immunities to take them for yourself. This will last for two nights (including this night). (1 use)

Defeat the Unseen or Cult, and any Neutrals that seek to do you harm.

Converts into The Renegade.

The Renegade
Unseen Offensive

Illicit (Passive) - Immune to occupation and redirection.
Berserk (Passive) - If the Mastermind is dead, Lunge gains unlimited uses and will occupy its target.

Feint (Day) - Resets all votes. Only you or your target may be voted for the rest of the day. (1 use)

Second Intention (Night) - If your target visits you, remove their immunities for two nights (including tonight) and redirect them to themselves. Every successful use of this ability gives you an additional use of Lunge. (Infinite uses)
Lunge (Night) - Disable your target’s passives and remove their immunities. This will last for two nights (including this night). The number of uses this has will be the number of uses of Riposte you had before being converted plus one.

Your objective is to Eliminate the Blue Dragon and any Neutrals who stand against you.

These classes have high skill ceilings, requiring players that want to get the most out of them to either predict who will visit them or to bait specific players into doing so. As such, they play out very differently from the other Blue Dragon Offensive classes, but fill a similar role, inhibiting the ability of the evil classes to act freely.

Ringleader is a long name

I can see you didn’t change the wording from the Duelist

I originally kept it as Strike but realized that Riposte is a literally perfect name and you not using it was a missed opportunity, so I changed it. Looks like I missed a spot. :stuck_out_tongue:

Quick Riposte

Open to suggestions but not a fan of Gladiator being the converted form or of Duelist as a name

Strike makes more sense to me. It’s a direct attack not a counter attack afterall. I guess it works considering it’s gained from Parry uses

Renegade?

Exactly why - you parry and then you riposte

Wait thinking about it

If Sellsword wasn’t in the game as a name already, this would be the perfect place to use it

The gladiator class is confirmable but worth it

just occurred to me. This class is a day confirm in Cult games

Actually said worth but whatever

Still I think it works better as an offensive class than as a killer

So it’s worth it to figure that out imo

Plus

Read Competitive

Day confirm in Cult games may not be a problem for more than one single day

Forgot the Reflexive guard stance and the Toe stab

Add or riot
