[Class suggestion] The sleuth

starts with a contract like the mercenary does.

Sleuth
neutral investigative
Passive: Poor
After your contract dies, you will have three days to find a new one. If you don’t find one in time, you will commit suicide. If your second target dies, you will kill yourself.
Day ability: offer contract
(infinite uses) Offer your target a contract. Not usable if you already have one.
Night ability: Interrogate
(4 uses) Reveal to yourself and your contract who your target visits and what their class type is.
Night ability: Snoop
( 2 uses) Look around your target’s room for clues. Their class will eb revealed to you and your contract.

Goal: Win with your first contract, or your second if the first dies.

Converts to the detective.

The detective has the same abilities (excluding offer contract and poor), but the information isn’t revealed to anyone else.

I believe that is too OP. Two times is enough, a bit like the Observer’s window peek, but six times? That would just be abusing and would cause a massive disadvantage to the evil factions, meaning that they could be found out within the first few days.

Unless you are contracted to evils.

Liklihood on the other hand is extremely low, as many people would have managed to make their claims of classes and if they are confirmed to be BD Observer or something important, then this will be considered.

Also, if you are contracted to evils, the first instinct is to lynch them along with the BD.

Why hello there mercenary!

So window peak. Except two people are notified?

This is pointless. Why would you want to know their exact class type? The Princess gets two possibilities so they have to get a claim out of them. Not with this.

In how it wins you win it is like Merc.

Yes, I purposefully made this similar to mercenary. That was never hidden.

No, you learn their class. Yes, two people are notified (they are paying for the information, obviously you tell them)

  1. 4 uses
  2. no royal blood

No, read the goal.

That’s still literally the Mercenaries goal…

No. You could die, then your target die, but your target’s faction still win, so you win.

No…

You said same goal as Mercenary. Therefore, their contract has to still be alive, even if the Mercenary and “Sleuth” died.

when did I say this? I said it was made similar to mercenary.
