the curious thing is that arctic hadn’t even tried to do that before they wrote this post, so this is an obvious hypocrisy

this was in response to someone complaining about making d1 reads
just because i hadn’t done this yet didn’t mean i had no intention of doing so

says that he sees no harm in solving early, but also finds it questionable that people are judging commitment

you can try and solve early but using commitment/activity is useless as this isn’t AI for the majority of people

my overall thought process is that d1 reads are good for analysing tone but how much this actually holds is pretty limited

that’s because i actually had a read i was confident on
i’m not going to tunnel people to death for the sake of it if i don’t actually have a strong read on them

in that game i was really convinced windward was scum d1
i have no strong opinions from this game’s D1 and forcing one would be counterproductive

i’m honestly kinda iffy on windward for this reason, particularly because windward should’ve noticed arctic’s differences from last game and pushed him harder, but hasn’t done that.

hardly anyone has been reading me this game and i’m not entirely sure why so i do appreciate your challenge

i already expressed why i think majora and sculpt’s playstyle is scum AI and i am perfectly happy with killing either of them today
