Court Wizard Rework For Contest (Version 2)

This is my second version for the contest

Court Wizard, BD, Support :heart:

Passive 1: Light Magic - You will be occupy/redirection immune the first time someone occupies or redirects you

Day Ability 1: Empowerment - Empower a player’s abilities to go through attack/occupation/redirection immunity, this will not inform you’re target, (example, butler occupies someone occ immune going through his occ immunity, it will just tell him he served wine to him), 2 day recharge time, unlimited uses

Night Ability 1 Magic Shield - Protect a player from all negative effects, if someone tried using a negative effect on him a message will come up, saying you’re target has been visited by a negative effect, this will not come up to your target unlimited uses

Night Ability 2: Sphere Of Lightness - Add a magical sphere protecting this player from all visits, 2 use

Sage, Unseen, Support :heart:

Passive 1: Dark Magic - You will be occupy/redirection immune the first time someone occupies or redirects you

Day Ability 1: Ally Empowerment - Make unseen immune to all negative effects at night, 2 use(idea by SabreOverdrive, slightly changed by RawkHawk)

Night Ability 1 - Swap a Snake - Same as Tornado

Night Ability 2 - Sphere Of Darkness - Make only the unseen able to visit the target, 2 use

Ritualist, Cult, Support :heart:

Passive 1: Will Of Mithras - Same

Passive 2: Crimson Magic - You will be occupy/redirection immune the first time someone occupies or redirects you

Day Ability 1: Brotherhood - A chosen Cult member appear as a member of the Blue Dragon tonight, 2 use

Night Ability 1: Cult Strength - Same as Empowerment can only be used on cult, 2 use

Night Ability 2: Ritual Swap - Same as teleportation, 2 use

Magic Shield Protects Target From:

Conversion
Redirection/Occupation
Frame/Mindwarp
Bleeding (Hunter Bleed)
Ritual Swap/Swap a Snake

Ally Empowerment Protects Unseen Target From:

Gather Darkness/Possess
Redirection/Occupation
Bleeding (Hunter Bleed)

I don’t really understand why CW or Sage needs their passives. It doesn’t add anything to him but make him slightly stronger, when no other classes have this.

Corruption Protection Spell is a bad ability. Permanently making someone conversion immune is not a fun mechanic, and really should not be an ability to give out, ever.

Empowerment is interesting. No real problems.

Magic Shield is barrier, which I think is fine as is.

Sphere of Magic is basically Ice Ward, right? I assume it prevents visits. It’s fine, depending on what you determine Magic Shield to be protecting.

Slither and Crawl just seems to be another “add on more abilities to make the character intersting”. Sage isn’t really seen as boring, and I don’t agree with buffing him, along with changing poison mechanic for BD with no warning.

Ally Empowerment is simple enough. I think “conversion (edit: I mean occupy, not conversion) immune” rather than “negative effects” would be better, since I don’t think the assassin is going to be converted that night.

Swap a Snake is Tornado and Sphere of Darkness is Wall of Fire, so no complaints.

I just thought it would make them interesting

Overall, anything Permanent should never be considered unless its insanely underpowered. The only “permanent” thing right now is Sheriff Scout, which even that goes away when sheriff dies or is converted.

Also on the Ally Empowerment, I meant Occupy Immune. I was getting ahead of myself, and I apologize for the mistake. If you consider attacks to be a Negative effect blocked by it, I think that might be overpowered for BD. If it’s strictly Unseen that it prevents death for the night, I support it, but would like it nerfed to at least 2 charges, as a 3 nights death immune assassin is fairly powerful, let alone 2.

I think my biggest nit pick is I don’t think court wizard needs two day abilities. Just get rid of absorbance and slither and crawl. They change the game and have no counter play. They also aren’t super interesting, and are almost thoughtless to use.

It looks pretty good. I do think removing fire wall from sage is also bad, but this is not that bad.

I would like to bump this up a bit, do you guys have anymore feedback/suggestions? I’m going to add Ritualist, if you have any feedback on him also please tell me

Maid Spy isn’t necessarily negative and is an unneeded nerf to Noble/poss unless Noble can soy more people? Noble just needs a rework imo.

Noble voting ability is the greatest one ever
