Cult leader/ Mastermind brainwash/convert question

I have about 20ish hours played over thisnlaat week and I’ve only had one mastermind game and 1 cult least game but I was not able to learn as much as I would like.

What I’m trying to figure out is if you decide to convert someone and you get roleblocked I know your ability does not go through. Does it go on the 1 day cooldown because you tried to convert or No? Also if a court wizard defends someone your trying to convert does that show up as target was immune and your ability goes on cooldown?

If the convert fails, the ability does not go into cooldown

Ok and if the drunk targets the CL/MM the drunk gets converted? So if for any reason it does not go on cooldown?

The drunk will not be converted if he targets the CL or MM unless they are doing so anyway. The drunk’s ability will instead fail.

Ahh h because occupy immune

No. This applys to CL too and he isn’t occ immune. It would work if CL used erraticate.
