Swap the uses
2 uses of Curse is a critical mass that makes it go from good to OP
TBH just swap the Acolyte and Ritualist’s sacrifice effect.
Giving uses makes for a good final push (more inline with a Killer) and also gives the CL more uses of ability’s
Preventing death is a pure support effect. Doesn’t belong on a Killer
so this is why you joined…
I see
I made it 3 uses because I buffed the conversion mechanic and encouraged sacrificing. Should I keep the uses, but make it a double kill?
Thanks, fixed it.
Alright
How is it overpowered though?
Alright. And should I keep the shield mechanic or just make it death immunity?
Poison someone and then Curse them twice for an unstoppable kill.
If this was an Unseen convert that would be fine. However Cult converts are something you can easily get 2 or even 3 of meaning you get way more kills than you should be able to with far more effectiveness than should be possible.
If doing so required 2 of them (which it would if it was one use) then it puts it more inline with an Unseen convert
Death immunity for sure.
Neither of these lists actually contain effects.
Wait I take it back.
The second one does
Ability != Effect
Then can you give me a list of the effects?
Also, a few other questions:
-
Would the cult member limit be fine at 5?
-
Should Seeker’s sacrifice effect and secondary passive be changed?
-
Should I rework/replace Crimson War on Ritualist(Acolyte already has a visit prevention ability)
Yea
Yes
Yup
Positive:
Healing
Attack Prevention (Distinct from Target prevention. Knight Guard and Merc do this)
Death Immunity
Conversion Immunity
Empower (Which also counts the Invoker Enrage, Acolyte Blood ward and Reaper Gather Darkness in addition to CW empower)
Negative:
Occupy
Redirect
Conversion
Target Prevention
Tailoring
Mind Warp
Bewilder (Also includes silence)
Thanks, I’m going to be creating a separate thread since there are a lot of changes. Do you have any ideas on what I should replace Crimson Ward(Ritualist) with? The only thing I can think of is this: Scare(Uses: 3) - Disable your target’s passives. Lasts until the end of the next night. They will not be notified. You will be told if you remove Royal Blood.
And what should seeker’s passives be changed to? Those were the only things that I could think of that fit with an investigative class.
Target prevention is both positive and negative since it can prevent positive and negative abilities.
Passive 1: Corax’s sight- If you are killed by poison then the Cult will learn the exact class of any players you have visited
Target prevention is always negative. The effect is on the one being prevented
Alright. And what should Seeker’s second passive be changed to?
He needs a second passive?
He doesn’t need one, but I like maxing out abilities.
