Yeah, we discussed this later as the hosts pretty much preventing us from finding fingerprints in general. Only the specific ability can be used. And even that ability can’t determine if there are other fingerprints.

If I used two blankets, the second one would be evidence thus would have to be dropped near the crime scene. Also this path is impossible as I’d need to cross the courtyard and be spotted by PKR/Min/TL to work.

Eli uses an ability on alice
You, the host, can do two things

1 - Immediately out the killer by giving a positive result, locking the trial more or less
2 - Make up some internal justification for a negative result, and the trial is still open

The host can NEVER pick option 1. The ability can’t be trusted.

If you don’t consider worlds where the info is faulty, why are we here? Just vote me then. If it’s not faulty in some way (either from his ability giving the wrong result or preventative measures from alice) it’s just me always.

You guys need to do it instead of trying to dodge around it and then see if it is wrong.

But if the host picks 2, that strongly leans it towards you as the killer also. So I think the host would have to go with what the ability says it should do, even if it locks the case.

or they used methods to prevent fingerprints
